A Game-Changer for DJs – Powerful, Clear, and Portable!
As a professional DJ, sound quality, portability, and reliability are non-negotiable—and the JBL PRX ONE absolutely delivers on all fronts. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by the sleek design and solid build. Setup was fast and effortless. The sound clarity is phenomenal—rich lows, crisp highs, and a well-balanced midrange. The 2000W peak power ensures I can fill any room or outdoor space with deep, clean sound without distortion. The Bluetooth connectivity is super convenient, and the 7-channel mixer gives me full control of my inputs, including mics and other instruments. It's been perfect for both DJ sets and live performances with vocalists. The onboard DSP and effects are a huge bonus! One of the best parts is how portable it is—I can easily move and set it up by myself, making it ideal for weddings, private parties, and club gigs. If you're a DJ or live performer looking for a professional-grade, all-in-one PA system, look no further. The JBL PRX ONE is worth every penny!

Great portable PA — firmware update fixed the app issue
I bought the JBL EON ONE Compact in November 2025 and initially had a lot of trouble getting it to connect to the older JBL Compact Connect app. It wouldn’t recognize the speaker on my iPad, and I thought the unit might be defective. The solution was to install the new JBL Pro Connect app (v2.4). As soon as I opened it, the app walked me through a firmware update for the speaker, and after that everything worked flawlessly. The Pro Connect app has far more features and is extremely responsive compared to the older app. Now the speaker connects instantly, the mixer controls are smooth, and the unit sounds fantastic. Once updated, it’s a rock-solid portable PA. If you’re struggling with the app, install JBL Pro Connect and update your firmware — it fixes everything.

Great sound for the money
As an independent mobile DJ, this speaker rocks!! The sound quality can fill a medium sized hall and two of them really pack a punch inside such a small package. While I did have signal issues using TWS, I don’t really have the need for that since I wire these up through a mixer, although there is a pass thru option. The battery life is great, easily getting me through 4 hour gigs with a little headroom left. They’re very easy to set up and tune and the build quality is great. Highly recommend!

Bluetooth Nightmare
You have to be a tech genius to get the Bluetooth to pair and play. I spent four or five hours reading manual, trying to use the JBL app, attempting to get sound when it showed it was paired. It happened once, right after I did a factory reset. It sounded great. I powered it down and tried again later. Back to square one. No sound. I reset several times, but the magic was gone. Not only that but my iPhone no longer pairs with my car stereo of same brand. I’m returning the speaker, removing the app from my devices, and praying things will just go back to the way they were before this speaker came into my life. It should just work, no drama. But no luck for me, I’m afraid.

Portable Gig Speaker $1300
As a working pro musician for many years. It was arduous to decide which one to buy. I had already invested in other speakers and audio equipment. I went with the JBL ION one MK2. I will generally only use the two spacers. The third or middle one appears to lean. I tested the difference in large empty hall and it will do with two columns. Of course the more people you have in front of you the worst the "audio throw is". Your decibels are affected with humanity nearby. Not sure what improvements have been made over the MK1, but this one suffices for my needs. There is lot of discussion on the negative JBL customer service and the poor battery life. I have yet to experience that since I just started using the device. PROS: Good clear sound. Menu display okay. Intuitiveness could use a revamp. More on the initial setup and negatives. The bass quality is great. The treble is passable. Portability is one of the main reasons I purchased. This unit will eliminate about 80% of my chords, including electrical AC plugs and additional Amps. I plug in one mic, one music iPad, and one guitar. The guitar not so good quality. The mic quality is above average. Mic levels are easy to edit, you can add "reverb" to your hearts content. CONS: make sure you turn up the "gain" knob on all of the channels, otherwise you won't get much sound. It is factory default at the lowest gain. Making you think I don't have any sound coming out. Yes JBL does not explain this little detail in the setup. The quick start up guide sucks. It has one page with the barest of all details. The power on button after long pressing it, takes about 15 seconds to start. The power off button after a long press take 5 seconds to turn off the unit. The display is small, and the battery level indicator is a tiny little icon. Come on. Also after charging the bottom light on the bass unit stays on. ?. No unit cover, you have to buy the cover and carrier for $167. If I bought this cover, I will still have to carry my guitar, and mic stand, and assorted smaller wires, and cables into each gig. There could be elevators, stairs, and other obstacles. So don't let this unit fall, it is made of plastic all over. The three tower attachments are flimsy. Be careful when taking them apart. Be sure to tap in place, otherwise you will only get the bass output. I might report back soon after a few gig applications are done. Oh yeah, because of the higher up/array line up of speakers, as a solo artist you can hear yourself better, and there is no need for a separate monitor. Less setup and breakdown time, and more time for mic checks, and getting paid. Have a great show everyone!

Better buy than others of same type speaker
Was debating between this and the Bose.... glad i picked this one. Not much difference, the bose is a little lighter and barely a little louder but the JBL has 4 channels. Very very clear sound, great for my acoustic and mic. Much less money than the Bose too
