These brushes feel really good on the scalp, providing a really nice massage. Brushes are easy to use leaving the scalp clean. If you do not have issues with hair breakage, this can be a great shampoo scalp massage brush for you. And you might even be able to detangle your hair with it. But my hair is high porosity, 3c/4a curls, with a lot of breakage, which I am trying to minimize. But this massage brush causes knots in the hair closer to my scalp. As I tested using the scalp brush itself to detangle my hair, it worked but it also caused a lot of hair breakage. The second time around, after using this massage brush, I used my Sagemann seamless comb to detangle my hair, which drastically reduced the hair breakage. I don't think I will be using this scalp massage brush every time I wash my hair. I will have to keep looking for a different option. For now, I am planning to give away a few of these scalp brushes to people who do not have hair breakage issues. They will enjoy the scalp massage!

Eh. It's kind of pointless. I have fine hair and it barely gets to my scalp. I'll stick to using my pick to massage my scalp.I gave it two stars because I could see it being a good man's brush for short hair. It could serve a purpose just not the advertised purpose.

IF MORE MEN WOULD UNDERSTAND THIS BRUSH IS A KILLER MASAGE AND REALLY DOES SLOW HAIR LOSS TO A HAULT.BLOWS RIGHT THROUGH TANGLED HAIR I KEEP ONE IN THE TRUCK,WORK HOME AND TRY TO GIVE THEM AWAY TO GUYS TOO STUPID TO EVEN TRY THEM.

My husband uses in the shower, I use as a hairbrush (Looong hair), and also put aside a couple to groom my cats (they love it). Best value, I've gone through 2 packages of these. Do wish the holders were sturdier -- they break off, but I still use the brush.

Have been looking for these brushes for a really long time and am so glad that Amazon carries them. The bristles are not so soft as to bend when they move along the scalp; they are also not as hard as to hurt when you comb through tangled hair. I also like the fact that the finger holder (loop) is one piece. I have had brushes where they come in 2 pieces, and it usually fails in where holder is. Overall, extremely pleased!

This might be good for baby hair but then it would be too rough for a baby's head. This might work well on buzz cuts. With long hair, the brush cannot really circulate and it only moves perhaps a couple of millimeters in any direction which prevents a massage effect. Maybe if it had longer teeth which would allow the hair to move in a bigger circular motion.

In addition to liking the massage and thorough shampooing this brush facilitates, it also makes a good grooming brush.

I wanted one of these in hopes of getting something to scrub in the shower and sometimes scratch my beard. As the price to pieces was so great I settled on this set. Turned out to be a good buy as I've given the extras to bearded family and friends. They agree that it works wonderfully washing and when needed, scratching.

This product is much sturdier than the previous one I ordered from another vendor. I don't anticipate the teeth to fall out. It works very well!
