HailiCare Decompression Back Belt - Back Brace Back Lower Lumbar Support-One Size for 29 inches to 49 inches Waists

Rarely do I rate products online but this product deserves to be rated. I was experiencing extreme pain in may back due to L3 - L5 and T11 degeneration. I went on Amazon to look for a certain Doctor's belt and found the HailiCare Decompression Back Belt that happened to be an "Amazon Choice" for a much lower price than the Dr. belt. I purchased it on a Friday and received it at my home on Sunday. Put it on and within 30 minutes I was feeling much better. I have used it for a week now, for about 3 hours a day and my back pain is essentially gone! You don't have to wear it all the time, about 30 - 60 minutes twice a day works for me, but I wear it anytime I am doing any lifting or physical work. The only down side I can report is that, while wearing it, you cannot bend as easily to pick up things, but that is a no-brainer trade-off for the relief it provides. If you are suffering from pain like I was, this belt is sure to provide the relief you're looking for. TC, Vancouver, Washington

First, my minor dislike. I ordered this traction belt and paid extra to have it delivered the next day. It was delivered, but shipped in its original box, instead of in an Amazon box. There wasn't even a piece of tape to keep it closed and secure. Anybody could have opened it and removed the items. I am happy that nobody tampered with my order. I am very pleased with this belt. My lumbar #5 has given me trouble for almost 40 years. The first time I put it on, I wore it for about 3 hours, until it finally began to feel uncomfortable. I put it on today, and as I was pumping the belt with air, I felt a certain vertebrae pop INTO place where it should be!I highly recommend this traction belt. It lifted my upper vertebrae off of my lower herniated disc, which is exactly what I needed for all these years for relief from the pain. For the price of a trip to the Chiropractor, I can almost take care of the problem myself. Since I now have this belt, I am able to sit for long periods of time again. And being a truck driver, I don't need the pain in my back, because the other drivers around me are a big enough pain! I also have the electronic nerve stimulator which makes a great companion.

I got this for my husband who has a lot of back pain after ONE USE HE WAS OUT OF PAIN, REALLY I HAVE MY HUSBAND BACK HE IS SO HAPPY WITHOUT THE BACK PAIN I ALSO GOT HIM ONE FOR HIS NECK AS WELL he uses both products in the beginning about 3 to 4 times a week, now he only uses them every once and a while THIS PRODUCT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE OR SHOULD I SAY GET YOUR LIFE BACK, BEST BUY I EVERY MADE FOR MY HUSBAND, I DO THANK GOD AS WELL, OUR LIVES ARE BACK TO NORMAL now when Mark wears his tool belt all day long he may have to us the back stretcher as we call it the Doctor said that Marks hip bone is fused to his spin al so said he should have been much taller and more handsome if it had not grown that way but all jokes aside it works the same day you cant ask for any thing better

Man, this saved me both pain and money! I first found about this through the tv commercials by Dr. Ho and his decompression belt. I almost coughed up the $200 for that one, when I found out about this cheaper, but just as effective option. Does it work? Well, does seem to give me some relief, but I have just started using it. I find it to be really effective when I use it with TENS therapy first. I was skeptical more about if they would have my size since I am a bit stocky, but they did. This therapy new to me, but I am at the stage where I will try almost anything. You should try if you have a need as well.

Saw the TV ad for Dr. Ho's product but when i read how much Medicare would be paying for the back brace I started looking elsewhere and found this and just bought it myself. Ripping off our national healthcare system sucks. I have degenerative disc disease in my lower back. I put this on for about a half an hour in the morning and at the end of the day. It has reduced my back pain greatly.

Works well, however, it does collect persperation due to manufacturer using plastic leather or 'pleather' for the inside lining. On the functional side, this TOTALLY RELIEVES ALL BACKPAIN. I have had my neck broken in four places and in a separate accident, my L1 was compression fractured. So much for folks who follow TOO CLOSE when driving! I've also been seen by countless orthopaedic surgeons and then when they proved all they wanted to do was cut, I hesitantly went to a chiropractor. Best thing I ever did. Having regular adjustments and then wearing this belt has really made my life pleasant. By the way, originally after seeing a TV commercial, planned on buying a Dr. H* belt. It is two and a half times more expensive and I sent it back as it did not function as well as this one. Hope this helps you decide to move on with your pain free life.

Belt lasted only 3 days. At the fourth day the belt was no longer inflating.Tried to contact Hailicare by email and phone several times and they never responded.If you have any issues with the belt you will either have to figure out how to solve them by yourself or return the item right away if it breaks down.

This belt is the best thing ever- I have been in MAJOR PAIN for the last 4 weeks and the only thing that stopped some of the pain and made life bearable was this belt- if you have spinal disc problems for God sake spend the money on this belt- you will be thanking me for a long time

I have just been through hell and back with persistent back pain day and night even on high strength pain relieve and and anti-inflamatory drugs. My problem is disc/nerve related and I was becoming desperate to relieve the pain somehow. A friend told me about traction devices that open up the gaps between vertebrae to take pressure off the nerves, but they were expensive so I did a search to find alternatives. This inflatable belt has been a wonder. When I feel pain building (especially when sitting) I put this belt on, inflate it and bingo the pain goes away and my lower back feels stable. You can't wear it all the time, but you can wear it for at least a couple of hours which works a treat when say you are sitting down to dinner or watching TV or driving a car. I highly recommend this product.

This is a brilliant concept and, having tried it for a couple of days, I could feel what the belt was trying to achieve in terms of stretching the spine, and that felt pretty good. I am sure that it would work really well on someone taller and wider than me. However, the idea that one size of belt could be adjusted to fit a range of body shapes, from a slim-waisted 5.5 foot size 10 woman to a 6 foot man with a large abdomen is somewhat optimistic on the part of the manufacturers. The upshot was that this belt is supposed to fit within the space between the lowest rib and the top of the hip. In my case, it covered both my lower ribs and my hip bones, even before inflation, let alone after inflation, and consequently did not support my back waist area firmly enough unless I tightened it so much that my ribs and hips were crushed to the point of pain. Yet it was only at that painful point that traction could be achieved. Basically, the belt is too wide as well as far too long. The front fastening ended up way over to one side instead of in the middle of my front, because I could not tighten the belt enough otherwise. This belt would work so much better on a generally bigger person than me. But the fit is just so poor that I am reluctantly having to return it. I clearly need the DDS G2 belt, which comes in six sizes but is hard to find in the UK. Come on, manufacturers, please let us have a choice of sizes, if only just two –– small and large.

This belt is a must for anyone with back trouble. I have slipped a disc twice this year, the first time I did not have this belt and it was honestly one of the most painful things I have ever experienced. The second time it went I found out about this belt and I wish I had got it sooner (still had a week of pain before I found it) the belt pretty much gives instant relief from the sciatica and has aided my recovery massively! For the price just get one and give it a go. I spent hundreds on a physio and chiropractors and they basically do the same as the belt. Straighten the spine and decompress it to relieve the pain. The belt gives you support and comfort so you can go about your day without that horrible pain and discomfort 👍

I will try to review this product in a week or so.I had severe pain for a week due to L5 S1. I couldn't seat properly in a lower position (sofa, toilet, car mainly)I had it only 2 days, after a few hours the first day I managed to drive the car.The belt supports well your back and decompress. I can't say the pain is gone because still there but has been a huge release already during the first day and importantly I managed to drive yesterday.I am a thin person, however an adaptor is also provided if you are a bit on the weight. Personally it is a bit tight and I felt a bit compressed at first. I suppose this is the way and following the instructions I worned it for a while and then I had to remove it and worn again later on. On the car I had it for 45min to 1 hour (twice) and the day before withough the belt 5 min drive to the shops nearly killed me. So, it does something. I am not working for them and I don't get any sales comission. I am just telling you because is one of tge worst pain you can have. If you are like me and from time to time it comes, bulging disk then you know what I am talking about. I have worned another 3 different bells so far. This is my 4th one and so far the best helping me with y lower back. I hope this review helps you too.

Purchased this to see if it would help with lower back pain. Over 30 years of pain and immediately found relief. After two days of using this, the feeling of relief is amazing, wearing belt for 30-60 mins at a time.. would certainly recommend, give it a try
