ASTRASuperior Stainless Double Edge Razor 50 Blades

These are my favorite blades. I have used Derby, Feather, Wilkinson and Shark blades. These are almost as sharp as the Feather, but don't irritate my face as much. A very smooth blade and they hold their edge well. I have a really tough beard and these have lasted almost 2 weeks on a single blade. That's impressive. Quality is pretty consistent between blades too. I haven't tried the Persona Blue blades yet. I will pick up a small pack and see if they are as good as the Astra blades.Just remember with the sharper blades not to push to hard on the razor. That's the secret to keeping your face from getting hacked up. Just let the weight of the razor do the work until the blade starts to wear after a few uses.

I have been shaving for 30 years and have seen my face transition from tough to sensitive with age. But, I switched recently to shaving soap and a DE razor and the results have been a closer shave with blades that last longer than my Quad blade razor. However, I started with Feather Platinum blades that came with my razor and to say they are sharp is an understatement; but, they nick my face really badly and I required a generous amount of styptic after each shave. Some of the reviews of these ASTRA blades indicated they worked better for sensitive skin. After one week of shaving and zero nicks, I have to agree. I still get a closer shave than with my old multi-blade razor, but now get to miss all the blood -- which is what I was after in the first place.

I've used many kinds of blades. After trying these in a sample pack, I found them to be superior to many brands like Feather and Six O Clock. These are all good blades, I'm happy with any of them, but the Astra Superior Stainless (blue package) just stay sharp longer and right out of the package they feel sharper. I favor open comb razors and tallow soaps, so if a blade or a soak doesn't measure up, I can tell on the first pass. These are my go-to blade.

Not the best but not the worst. I’m not sure I would say I have sensitive skin but I do have issues with razor burn and ingrown hairs sometimes at the bottom of my neck and these blades more often than not gave me slight razor burn. I can only speak for myself but Gillette Platinum and Feather blades work the best in my opinion.

I have sensitive skin and these are only the second type of blades I've used. So in comparison to Derby Extra I will give you this analysis:-Astra is sharper out of the box-A dull Astra feels better than a dull Derby on sensitive skin-Derby lasts 1-2 shaves longerI probably won't be buying any other blades for a while. 50 blades will last me a year!

I have tried numerous razor blades over the years. My go to blades have always been Astra superior platium. But I decided to try these Astra blades I get the best must comfortable shave from the blades. These are sharper more comfortable blades I have ever used. There my go to blades now . Great value great blades period.

You will get a close and comfortable shave with this blade. Gillette silver blue has been my go to blade. These are just as good. I would highly recommend Astra Superior Stainless blades.

These are great blades. I've tried a number of the quality blades out there including the highly touted Japanese Feather blades. I don't know if I really see much difference, these blades are great and you can afford to throw them away recklessly and always have a new sharp blade without breaking the bank or impacting the planet.

I'm not sure if these are originals, they have definitely different print, than what I am used to from my country (cheaper looking), on the other hand, they really do a great job. I can easily compare it to my Wilkinsons, which are the greatest and smoothest razors I usually use, but I can't buy for reasonable price on this continent. Go for em, you wont regret!Better than Derby, Feather is legend, but these are the secret gliding classics!

defintely a good razer for sensitive skin. blade is not aggressive. good for beginner shaving. blades dont last long. 1-2 shaves per blade.

I use mine for cleaning aquarium glass. great value for money buying in bulk!
