Fits better than my other Nathan hydration vest
Turns out the x-small is the size I need. I had already purchased another one of these in size small (a little different version but nearly identical) and it rubbed me pretty badly. I'm not super duper small, either, so even the x-small will be too large if you are a tiny person. It's too hot to wear anything over my running bra, so the skin there is going to make contact with the vest. You need to pull the straps tight to make sure it doesn't move and that it sits up high enough that it doesn't contact your skin (or minimally). The 12 oz flasks are perfect for my runs and it's easy to suck the water out of them. This vest has been a lifesaver for me this summer (and yes, it's still summer in Texas!!!) So glad I purchased this running vest!

A disappointment
This vest is just ok. I’m glad I didn’t pay more for it because I would have sent it back. It is true that you don’t feel like you are wearing a vest. There are two pockets in the back. One is zippered and the other is not. There are some side mesh pockets that are oddly shaped. I would never trust putting anything in those pockets because they are rather short in some areas. The bottles are nice but one of them leaked the first use. Finally, the pockets in the front are not large enough to hold a phone or much of anything else when you have the bottles full and in place. I carried one RX bar in the left pocket and it barely fit. The right pocket included my handheld pepper spray - it was sticking out and tight. This is definitely not for really long runs that require more fuel and gear. I’m 5’4” and 120 lbs. I ordered a small and it fits.

No-bounce perfect vest for every day runs
As someone with a bad back and a big bust, I searched everywhere until I found this vest. If you don't need a bladder or a ton of stuff then it's perfect. I wear it on every run now and just use 1 bottle and the other pocket for my phone. There is NO bounce. Great vest

Make sure to order correct size.
Love this vest. I just tested this on my long run a day ago. I wish the sizing on the product was better described. I ordered the S based on the size guidelines and the small is too large. The flasks bounce a lot when full. I have the straps pulled as tight as I can to where the bottles sit directly on my chest, not on the sides as shown in picture.Overall the vest is super comfortable and holds everything you need on long runs. The soft flasks make it easier to run without the weight and discomfort of a hard bottle. The straws feel too short but it's not annoying. I'm guessing the issues I'm having wouldn't be if the size wascorrect. I wish I could exchange it for an XS.

Height is a consideration
A lot of people mentioned that it was smart to buy one size down, but as I fit xxs measurements there was no way of buying smaller. It turned out to be fine because as I am just a hair over 5 feet the buckles sat lower than where I measured and fit perfectly.I also have to say the customer service was excellent. I wrote to them about an issue with the water bottles and they sent me a replacement very quickly.

Doesn't bounce or rub
I tried a loose fitting Camel back before and it bounced a lot, changing my running gait. This one stayed put and made it easier to run with. As the water bottles get smaller, the vest can be cinched tighter to maintain the close-to-body fit. Highly recommended.

Good race vest but flimsy straps
I bought both this vest and the Nathan VaporHowe 4L to train and race 3-15 mile distances. Both provide 2x 12oz bottles in front and loads of little pockets for gels and food. The VaporMag provides a medium sized flat stash pocket on the upper back and a medium zipped pocket in the lower back. The VaporHowe also provides the medium flat stash pocket on the upper back, a long vertical pocket along the back intended for a water bladder (instead of the zippered pocket), and a horizontal stash pocket along the lower back (for jackets/poles).I am keeping the VaporHowe and sending back the VaporMag because the Howe is more functional as it provides everything the Mag except for the zippered pocket, plug the bladder and jacket option. In addition, the straps on the Mag feel flimsy. They are elastic and I already can see they are not going to last.

Light and spacious
This is supremely light with plenty of space for phone, light jacket, 24 oz. Water, ipod, fuel so very practical. The drinking straws take some getting used to and indeed you do have to twist your head a bit. No problem if you walk while drinking as I usually do. These are bite releases so if you are used to a pop and open spout it takes some practice.

Super leicht - sitzt super

Great for shorter distances
This vest is perfect for shorter distance runs where a full back bladder, and other supplies are not needed. Fits true to size, very comfortable, good breathability.

Not worth it
I ordered the large. This items would be an extra small. Won’t fit my 11 year old daughter. Waste of money.
