This product is great. I bought this for my Astro A40's. I wanted to use my own chat adapter connected to my Xbox controller and also use this headset with my PS5 plugged directly into the controller via 3.5mm Jack. I didn't read the description so I was pleasantly surprised by the features. It has a mute button that is hold to use. Press and hold to mute, release to unmute. It has a volume dial. And on the back is a switch. It says A and B. With A selected, you use your headset mic. With B selected, you use the onboard mic. Which I didn't know it had upon purchase. The cable is nice and thick. And the connections feel sturdy. Super happy with this product.

This product works as advertised and there is no weird static or anything like that that I got with the other version of the 3.5mm inline mute A40 replacement cable (the more square-circular looking one). The cables are pretty thick and seems to be sturdy. The 3.5mm jacks fit snuggly into the A40 headset and the mixamp and don't show signs of slipping out. The audio is fantastic, no complaints. The mixamp pro tr is defintely a step up from the M80 mixamp, and this cable helps complete the set now that i can mute myself.

Works great... for about a week, then the wire breaks internally and it's completely useless.

Good replacement cord for my A40s. The lenth is shorter than the factory cord but that did not bother me as I dont need a long cord to begin with how I have my setup. Everything sounds great the only drawback to this cord is that it does have a mute button but you have to press and hold to mute yourself which can be annoying at times when you just want to mute yourself. Besides that great cord and great price.

I drop my controller a lot (It drops from a sitting distance) and because it’s not long enough it hangs and the inside wire rips. The original wire lasted way longer. These wires rip a lot because of me dropping my controller and I tried to buy longer wire but it’s way too long gets caught in my chair.

I used this to connect my Astro A40 TR headset to my Astro Mixamp Pro. I've been using it regularly for the past couple of weeks and so far it has worked flawlessly. I really like the fact that it has a momentary mute plus a regular on/off mute switch. The momentary mute button is great if you need to cough or sneeze. It also has a built-in microphone, which is nice but I'm still using my headset mic. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this item again.

The A40 A10 Replacement Cable Inline Mute Volume Control with Microphone is being used for an IPad and Android phone. The product has worked perfectly since purchased and is easy to operate. The cable is sturdy as described and is a good buy for the price. I would recommend this product to others.

This Is A Good Cable. Works Great With My a10 Headset. Bought This Cable Because The Original Was Too Long. This Has The Same Quality Sounds Good But There’s 1 Downside When You Move And The Cable Brushes Up Against You It Does Make Noise Other Then That Works Perfect!Update: Cable Went Bad After 3 Months Was Playing A Game And The Sound Went Out!Update: 6/29/23 Bought A Second Cable Went Bad Less Then A Month I Don’t Recommend Buying These And If You Do I’d Buy A Few Of Them But I’m Looking For Anther Alternative For My Astro A10 Headset I Wouldn’t Waste Money On These!
