My husband promised that the next big purchase we saved for would be a sewing studio for me. My old machine is broken beyond repair. I purchased this machine with a christmas gift card just to tide me over until we can redo my sewing room. I have no complaints. This little machine has few bells and whistles, but does just what I need and completes my small projects just fine in the interim. I will probably keep it as my "travel" machine even after we redo my sewing room. I'd say give it a shot for casual sewing and small projects!

I bought in February and have not had time to use until now. Bought for basic sewing needs like cotton fabric for pillows and curtains and it DO NOT work. The top stitch do not stay in the needle eye, it's horrible. If I could get my money back I would....horrible, horrible, horrible!!!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She has not even been able to use it once. The needle broke and we had someone that knows sewing well change it and the needle just keeps falling out.
