I can make my own size dressings - my skin cuts easily due to medication, and regular plasters are too small.

Better than plasters
I much prefer using lint and tape on wounds than plasters, it allows the wound to breath. Seems difficul to get in the shops now.

LInt useful to help with healing and act as a barrier
I use this safe and sound lint loose after applying a cream to protect the skin from chaffing against clothes. You can use surgical tape to hold the lint in place but if you are covering an open wound then try to use the smoothest side.
