My pet peeve: cheaply made products. This shackle is not cheaply made! I decided to get this shackle because it appeared to be a quality made shackle so I ordered it. When it arrived via Amazon Prime, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a highly precision made shackle. I was impressed with the level of workmanship that was put into this shackle. The design and manufacture to fit and finish is second to none. Rated at 16K pounds, this shackle should outperform my winch, so failure at this link is not a concern. Overall, I am impressed with the high quality standards that Factor55 have and would not hesitate to buy another product from them. Two thumbs up!

This was purchased for my Ford F150 with a Engo Synthetic line winch. The fit was perfect. I have used it on pulling some trees. Used a 3/4 clevis pin. Much safer and easier to use then a hook. It also protects the synthetic line from the elements and sun. That was my main reason for the purchase. It is definitely a high quality made item.

I purchased the fully loaded version: it is very nice, and exceptional quality.This lightweight thimble is perfect for winching safely, and I use mine on my 2014 jeep jk rubi. The 3/4 hole fits a warn 3/4 shackle like a glove. Installed on steel winch line, the snap ring secures the pin very well, minimal play once you put the snap ring back in. Finish is perfectly anodized, no cutting corners by factor 55 here. Works great, looks great, and has held up for a year of trail abuse in Colorado.

Well made, easy to use, and looks great. A little pricey compared to others but I'm a believer in you get what you pay for.

Very high quality fit and finish which CNC machining gives. I had forgotten-how large it is but that’s the price you pay for strength.

Everything you would expect from this company. I did have issues launching the eclip into the abyss upon removal but was able to locally source a replacement.
