Works as intended, with shoddy build quality
PROS:+ Works as advertised+ Is very quiet+ Very slick and professional lookCONS:- Very poor build quality. Almost every pilot hole was off. This meant that I had to not screw in around 20% of the final screws. For an item that costs a grand total with shipping, this is not really acceptable. Drilling pilot holes in the correct place is not difficult- Very heavy once together. Is quite the chore to move around due to the huge weight (200lbs+). This may not be unavoidable, but should be notedOverall, I wouldn't overwhelmingly recommend this product specifically due to the unexceptional build quality. However, the price is cheaper than other square desks of the same range. So it depends on what you want to sacrifice for the cost. But if you can stomach the build quality for the price, then this could be for you.

Great lift, low quality laminate top.
The stand which goes up and down is perfect. The laminate top is cheap material, and was broken in half when it arrived. The seller’s customer service has not responded in over two weeks, despite sending pictures. I finally had a nicer wood top made myself in a local carpentry shop.

Cheap design and build
This is a shoddy product. The pilot holes done line up and is a hassle to build. Not worth $1000 at all!

Not easy to put together!
I was so excited to receive my desk and I had high hopes due to the price tag. As I started assembling what was sold to me as "simple" and "easy" assembly quickly turned into professional tools required and be ready to work hard. If you get your desk and if you're lucky you get a table top that has pilot holes that are pre-drilled and tapped. If you are like me and read step 7 you see a small triangle sign that states "If using a desktop without threaded inserts or pre-drilled holes, align according to diagram below". That's it, nothing else, thank you very much for your money, goodbye! It took me 4 hours to figure out exactly which drill bits to use, exactly what depth to drill to and how to properly tap in the bolts (yeah bolts not screws). I called and left a very angry v-mail that they say they will respond to me so we'll see.For the amount of money you pay getting a desk that isn't ready for assembly and requires hours of manual labor and professional tools to put together is poor customer service. On the positive side though the wood is very high quality (Walnut stain), the motors work well and it fits my need perfect. It was a painful and aggravating experience to get here though.

Worth the effort, Beautiful desk
While it is admittedly, reasonably difficult to put together, it is worth the effort at this price point, you can't beat it. It does have simple instructions and very few steps, so when I say difficult to put together I mean, heavy. You will want 2-3 strong people around to help you assemble, move, and get it just right. I would however, recommend the solid wood, something that costs $2000+ anywhere else online, it is worth the extra cost for the sturdiness

Best standing desk
The l shaped desk has been the most valuable thing I have purchased for my office. It is extremely versatile whether I would prefer to sit or stand and the preset buttons to raise or lower the desk make everything so easy. Fantastic purchase and extremely happy.
