Epilady Epiflex Epilator, White and Blue, 1.08 Pound

This Epilflex is not worth the money. I have been using and love Epilady Epliators for about 30 years. I decided to upgrade when the battery of my old Epilady Legend started to not hold a charge (it was about 3 years old). I am so sorry I did. This is not worth the extra price. It advertises that it is 'super-efficient' but I did not find that to be the case. I have used the Legend for years (and need to replace it every 3 or so years when the battery can no longer hold a charge) and was able to remove hair within a reasonable amount of time and with great precision - for the underarm and bikini area this is a must. The Epiflex has two heads and a faster motor. But it just is too hard to remove the hairs. The framing of the two heads is large and makes it have less contact with your skin (in fact, if I remove the framing it works better). The single head is much closer and therefore more efficient for me. Also, you cannot use this while it is plugged in. So, you have to wait for it to charge if it runs out of energy. I didn't need it to be waterproof so that feature was not something I cared about.Unfortunately, I wanted to see if just took time getting used to (I bought this at the end of May) and I missed my 30 day window to return this. I would have definitely returned it if I could. I did purchase another Legend in July because I was so frustrated by using the Epiflex. So now I have two and use the Epiflex for large areas like the legs - but not the knees because it is not precise enough.Use caution when purchasing this, especially if you are already using an epilator. I regret purchasing this and hope this review helps people who are thinking of 'upgrading'.

I ordered this after misplacing my emjoi epilator. I thoroughly enjoyed using this epilator. It removed about 98% of hair from my pubic region. I am african american and have very coarse body hair , except for my arms, I have fine arm hair. There were a few strands that the epilator was unable to pluck on either speed setting. It was not many strands at all. I had to use tweezers, which would have been nice if it was included in the purchase ;-) , to remove the few hairs that were left. The epilator did not run out of juice while i was epilating away! On one charge, it last for about 40 minutes, i was done with my pubic region and upper thighs in about 10 minutes , as i had to go over certain areas two- three times to get all the hair, plus, i take my time down there. Keep in mind the hair growth pattern is diverse down there :-) SO far i'm still silky smooth, it has been a week. I normally can go 4-5 weeks before epilating again. I have been epilating for about 3 years now. The epilator does come with a manufacturer warranty for 1 year which is a bonus , so keep your paperwork ladies and gents!!

The epilator works fine (as in the hair removal), but mine had problems with the power light staying on after charging and it would drain the battery. I wrote in for warranty work, but they only do warranty work when you buy it from an approved seller, which this was not. So, I'm buying a new device a year later.It works decently. It does need several passes on my legs. I get very few ingrown hairs on my legs, but I get a fair amount in my bikini area. It only hurt the first time when I was epilating all my hair. Weekly touch ups are no problem.

This is the first time using such a product following a straight razor habit. If you were to ask me if it removes ALL hairs, I would have to say NO, but with not understanding why some & not others?

I have used the Epilady twice - but I am very pleased with it. I bought it for the hairs on my upper lip and chin and neck...hurts like a son of a gun but figure that will get better over time.....I'd rather do this and go in and get waxed - my skin doesn't get as red and sore - the redness is usually gone by morning....

I have been using the epilady for around 20 years and this is the BEST one yet. it leaves my legs as smooth as if I have shaved but last much longer.

It works well, and best of all, it doesn't pinch my skin!
