Awesome Alternative Chewing Gum
I bought this as a healthy alternative to chewing gum, and I will be buying more soon. If you're used to strong artificial chewing gum flavors, you will find this is very different. It tastes like ( because it is ) tree resin. The product arrived fresh, and in good condition, although it took a long time, all the way from Greece. It's a harder chew than standard soft chewing gums. I am an aggressive chewer; being hyper active, I enjoy chewing to help me think, so I like the added "resistance" of the texture of this gum. Some of the pieces are so fresh that they stick to my dental work, but after some chewing they settle down and don't stick any more. I did purchase another brand of much smaller pieces of Chios, and mixed a little with my Spry Xylitol gum, which worked out well. I love this so much that I don't mix it with the Xylitol gum any more. Although you might consider this gross - since it has it's own anti bacterial qualities - I often set it aside in a covered dish after chewing it for a while, and take it up again later. I have tried adding some essential oil of peppermint for flavor, but that turns it into an impossible sticky mess that you can hardly get off your teeth. Overall this is a fantastic product if you want a healthy alternative to chewing gums that are full of plasticizers, artificial sweeteners and flavorings.

Don't waste your money
The product has a mild pine taste. The product I got was actually so soft it almost melts. It's like chewing on soft wax... It's definitely not strengthening your jaw.I didn't think there is anything good about this product. There is also no return option. Obviously the seller knows this product isn't worth it.Just buy yourself some sugar free gum.

It is what it is, and I love it.
I've used an entire pack so far, which lasted about two weeks when stretching out its usage. The flavor is earthy, and it has definitely added strength and size to my masseter muscles. I feel my gut health has also improved.Follow the instructions for storage - I left it open once and the humidity did a number on the tears, making them softer when chewing and taking longer to get my desired chewing resistance.Open, rinse, let sit in your mouth for 20-30 seconds, then chew. Store as directed. It's not rocket science. 6/5 stars.

Ulcer Remedy
Mastic is a resin obtained from the Pistacia lentiscus tree, more commonly known as the mastic tree.Other common names for mastic include Arabic gum, Yemen gum and tears of Chios. The mastic tree generally grows in the Mediterranean region, and its sap can be dried into pieces of brittle translucent resin. When chewed, this resin softens into a white opaque gum with a pine-like flavor.Mastic has long been used in ancient medicine to treat various gut disorders, including stomach ulcers and Crohn’s disease. More recently, animal studies report that it may act as a potent natural ulcer remedy.

Before you buy
The gum is definitely a workout for your job, but the taste for the first 30 seconds of having it in your mouth is terrible after it goes away. It’s relatively a good product. It would elevate the experience if they incorporated flavor into the gum.

Tastes good, easy to chew
I bought these to exercise my jaw and teeth. They are really tiny beads, but that doesn't bother me. I use roughly a teaspoon of beads and that chews down into a nice little piece. For the first thirty seconds or so it will seem sticky and annoying, but that quickly goes away and you're able to chew it easily. The taste is pleasant and is very mild -- like others have described, sort of tastes like sweet tree sap, but then after a minute or so it's basically flavorless. It's easy to reuse if you want -- put it into a container between uses so it doesn't dry out too much. So far so good, I like them and would order again.

what the heck? buyer beware.
I was hopeful. I imagined that I was helping local farmers while going straight to the mastic tree orchards of Greece. What I got was a small packet with a solid piece some sort of "substance." It looks horrible and it feels like a piece of hard candy. I wonder if I can repurpose it. To do that I need a hammer. I will probably lose a good portion of the product if I do that. It's not cheap. About $20 for a small packet (50 grams is a much smaller portion that I realized). I really thought I was getting a better quality product than the capsules that are available on Amazon. Boy was I wrong. Here, the processing of the raw product into capsules might offer better value and consistent quality. I am hoping the seller makes this right.
