Good quality material that is easy to apply and dries fast. It’s also sands well. Left over material should be stored in the container with a couple drops of water to prevent the material from drying out during storage.

I recently had an issue where my recliner scraped the wall, leaving a pretty noticeable gouge. I wasn’t looking for a huge, complicated fix, just something simple and fast to patch it up. The Red Devil 0542 ONETIME Lightweight Spackle worked perfectly for the job. The spackle is super easy to apply—just a quick swipe with the included tool, and it filled the hole smoothly. It dried quickly, and within a few hours, I was able to sand it down and paint over it to blend it in with the rest of the wall. The texture is lightweight, so it doesn’t sink or crack as it dries, which is a plus. It’s also really affordable for how well it works. My only minor complaint is that it’s a bit hard to see when applying, so I had to double-check that it was filling the hole completely before it dried. But once it set, it did the trick and looks great now. For small repairs like scrapes or holes, this is a great go-to product. I’d definitely recommend it for DIY wall fixes!

Perfect cosmetic spackling for drywall. I wouldn't trust it to do a large hole and expect it to hold a picture or anchor in the drywall, but if you need to fill a small hole, a scrape, a dent from a door, or some other cosmetic blemish on drywall before you paint - this is a great solution. The "tub" is/was so lite when it arrived, I had to open it to be sure it wasn't empty. Drys well, blends well, and takes paint very well. Recommended for ease of use and application, but durability and hardness - I'd say get a true patch if you need to mount an anchor or hand a picture in it.

So much easier to use than drywall compound, painters putty, caulk, etc. I love this stuff. Might not be ideal for every situation but it's worked great for

It worked just like it should have. It’s white and odorless, cleans off very easy as long as it’s cleaned immediately after use. It dries hard, very durable, a nail could be hammered into it with confidence. It’s inexpensive and as long as the cap is on securely, it should last a long time.

Tried filling a patch in the wall and left it for three days but it still remained soft..

This stuff is awesome! It’s light and fluffy and easy to apply. A little goes a long way and it also dries super fast!
