Games Magazine Junior Kids' Big Book of Games

I use these as bell ringers. The para I work with just loves how engaging they are so IGot her a copy of her own!

Such fun. My grandchildren will be delighted!

I used to have a subscription to GAMES Magazine in my youth, and I absolutely loved it! It helped me develop my critical thinking skills and pass the time when there was nothing else to do, back when your favorite shows were only on television one time per week.

This is a great activity book. It's small enough to grab and take in the car. I bought it as a gift for a 10 year old but my 14 year old said she wanted one too. So it has some interesting games for the mid-older ages I think (not too babyish). Well worth the month in my opinion.

I used to love Games magazine. It was such a good way to stretch my brain in a non-traditional format! This came to me used because it’s out of print, so I knew what I was getting. Some of the things mentioned are dated, but it doesn’t take away from the quality of the games that are included. To that end, some of the games were way too simple & seemed a bit like space fillers. Even so, I would still repurchase this!

I bought this for my 8-year-old and 10-year-old. They both love it! There's a variety of puzzles to solve- some are quick and others may take up to an hour to complete. Some of the puzzles are a little tough for my younger one, but he picks out the ones that are easier. This is great for a rainy day!

I didn't order this used. I know there is an option for that. Most of the book is fine, there are a few pages that have been marked.

Bought this for the grandkids. We all love it. Fun and unique mazes, point of view pictures, word games. Really enjoyable. In color too.I bought another one just to have at our house, since the other one HAD to go home with the kids.Big plus..requires NO batteries and doesn't make noise or light up!

My son, aged 8, absolutely loves this so we are desperate to find more just like it. For a lively boy who'd usually rather spend time bouncing off the walls or staring at a screen, this keeps him engaged, quiet and still for relatively long stretches

Este libro está muy bien para niños. Tiene muchos handouts/worksheets para ocupar a los niños. Algunos dificiles para niños pequeños pero en general está bien.

This is NOT a book of games! It's a book of puzzles, word play, hidden pictures, mystery, riddles, trivia, NOT GAMES.By definition, a game is "a form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck." I thought I was getting a book of games that the whole family could PLAY together--this is definitely a 1-person book. If you're looking for a GAME book for kids to play TOGETHER, I recommend getting a great book of games called "HOPSCOTCH, HANGMAN, HOT POTATO & HAHAHA" Very Disappointed.

It is just what I was looking for to add a bit of fun to kids lessons. it is great
