Cups with hard to find free flow spouts!
My 8-mo old is almost exclusively breast-fed, taking very few bottles, and he just could not get anything out of the no-spill cups with silicone spouts. I started reading about sippy cups and turns out the ADA and AAP don't recommend using no-spill cups which have valves requiring the baby to bite and suck, rather than sip. I finally came across these cups, which have 2 holes in a hard free flow spout and a silicone insert which can reduce flow (another reviewer has posted a great pic). I removed the insert, choosing instead to add it back if the flow was too much. I lifted the cup to my son's mouth and he tried to bite the spout (like he did with the silicone ones), but he realized right away that it was not soft and stopped biting. Then he drank from it perfectly! Not even a dribble on his bib. I don't use the insert at all, so he requires constant supervision while he has this cup, but he drinks well and promptly when I help him put it to his mouth which is a big win for us! It's not a cup for baby to just sit and play with because it will spill.A note on the slanted design - it is great because the cup can be tipped less while drinking, but it also makes the cup rather large despite the smaller volume it holds. The big negative is this is not a no-spill cup. Even with the insert (which can block off the flow), I would not toss this cup into a diaper bag. It needs to be kept upright. If you use the insert to close off the cup, you have to take the lid off and remove the insert for drinking and then have the issue of where to keep the insert if baby is not using it to slow the flow. If we are out and about, I put his liquid in a bottle with a lid and then fill the cup only when I am ready to give it to him.

Difficult to close and leaky.
I did not like this product. I found that it leaked, and as some other reviewers have said, it is very hard to get the top on tightly, You really have to bear down on it to get it to fully snap closed. But even then, if you shake the cup hard it will leak out of the spout area. Not a fan.

This has been a really great cup for my 7mo to learn that liquid comes from a cup (doesn't have to tip as far and you don't have to fill it up so much to allow for an easier tip but then it's too heavy....) but with that said, this is a stay at home cup only. It leaks pretty easily and the lid pops off easily as well. I do like that you can adjust the flow. We get messy when we eat right now so a little added water doesn't bother me since she's really getting the hang of a sippy but when we're out of the house, we bring a different more secure cup. I would still recommend this though as a great at home trainer cup.

Pull them off the market please!
These sippy cups need to be taken off the market. We loved them at first but found some deep dark dangers after using them over time. First let me tell you that they are not dishwasher safe. They will loose their intend shape and start to be very difficult to put the lids on and take them off. After washing a couple times in the dishwasher we noticed leaking started so we hand washed them from that point on. This happened only day' after receiving and using them. They were cheap enough I did not care about returning them if they completely failed. After a couple months we than started having problems with the filters staying in the spout which caused the liquid to just poor out on the carpets or if my son was drinking CHOKE on the liquid. We ordered two sets of them at the same time in late 2016 and our son was almost 1 at the time. Ok now I am going to get to the dangerous part of this product that any parent or grandparent is going to want to be aware of. MOLD ISSUE in the spout. This is caused due to a major design flaw. There is nothing on the market I have found in my area or online small enough to clean really good on the inside edges of the spout. If you forget or just don't get to rinsing them out right away mold can build up in the spout that you just cant get to. I have used a Q-tip and pipe cleaners from the craft store. The pipe cleaners worked the best but the problem with those is you can't put enough pressure behind them to really clean out the spouts. I tried the dishwasher again and even jets in the dishwasher could not clean it out well enough. I have included some photos below that hopefully help you see the problem with these cups.DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

Needs some redesigning
I bought this cup for my 11 month old as we transition to cow's milk and away from bottles. He's generally very good with spout cups with or without valves. I really wanted this cup to be great because it's inexpensive and allows for drinking without a severe head tilt. It's not great though. It's just okay:Pros: inexpensive, ability to adjust valve flow very easily, easy to clean, no major head tilting needing, great for early cup trainingCons: the lid comes off easily when dropped or enthusiastically banged on a high chair tray, if you put it in the dishwasher the bottom slanted interior fills with dishwater, it also gets food and other junk stink inside (I don't know why the bottom is open), the valve at any flow doesn't stop leaks when turned upside down so you can't put it in your bag.I'd recommend this cup for very early cup training at home. My 11 month old opens it far too easily and my 2 year old twins don't need the slanty base.

These have been awesome in helping our baby drink more water as we introduced solid foods. The interior slant helps him get water without having to tip his head as far back as with other sippy cups. That seemed very helpful for him to sort out how to handle the liquid and the new motion of drinking. Once we used these, he immediately stopped coughing/choking on the water as often. The other great feature is the clear plastic guard on the inside can be switched around to limit the flow... that and everything is easy to clean.

The cups were received in perfect condition however
The cups were received in perfect condition however, they are kind of leaky, the flow does not seem to have a big difference by switching the plastic insert around (which is also quite messy when the child has already started to drink) my child also had a hard time sealing his mouth on the cup and it was hard for him to suck the milk out.
