Magnetic USA Map Puzzle & President Puzzle for Kids

The pieces are thick, coated in plastic, squishy, and very durable. My preschooler hasn't ripped a single state in the 1 year he's had it.About 6 months in, we lost the state of Missouri. I figured that it was gone for good until I stumbled upon a review where another purchaser mentioned that the company, Learn & Climb, had really great customer service. So I contacted them for a replacement piece. There was no charge, no hassle, and the replacement state of Missouri arrived very quickly.I couldn't be happier with this product and the customer service. My son learned all 50 states at the age of 3 and he still plays with the puzzle a few times each week. I haven't gotten the courage to introduce him to the Presidents yet, but it's there when we're ready.About the pieces: each state has its own piece except for New England (Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, & Connecticut) and another single piece composed of New Jersey, Maryland, & Delaware.The pieces fit together PERFECTLY. The cut job is excellent.If I HAD to come up with a negative, I would have liked to see the Presidents side have a single puzzle piece for each president. As it is, it's a jigsaw cut that cuts through everything randomly (like a traditional jigsaw puzzle).Overall, I got it for the states. So, 10/10.

I'm a tutor for elementary age students. Memorizing the 50 states and capitals can be a daunting task, especially when the student is expected to know the geographic location of each state. This handy, magnetic board system beats out the other TWO puzzles I've bought before. I'm a big Melissa & Doug fan, but I felt like this magnetic puzzle topped theirs because of its design and easy portability. This was the only tool that helped my summer student finally get over the hump in comprehending states/capitals in their proper geographic placement. It is made of sturdy material and the magnets are quality...no sliding states!

I took off one star because the description stated that it is magnetic on both sides, and therefore it sounds as if you'd be able to put it up on a refrigerator., however the board itself is heavy for a refrigerator and will not stay up. Apart from that, it's definitely a great learning tool. One reviewer pointed out that the upper peninsular of Michigan is missing, and that's true. Also, Alaska is placed next to Hawaii, as many maps tend to do, but it could have been done better, for example with a box around it to show that it's not really in the middle of the Pacific ocean. All in all, a great learning tool. The puzzle with the presidents that's included in this purchase is also a great learning tool, and it's up to date, i.e. meaning that President Trump is also listed on it. A great gift for kids of all ages, and for some adults too!

We travel a lot and this product helps with teaching my 5 year old son about the different states we visit. He loves using his toy cars to map our trip using the puzzle. We don't really work on the president's puzzle yet, but it is still nice to have that side of the puzzle for the future. It took us about 3-4 times to do the US puzzle together before my son could do it on his own and recognize the states, and he doesn't do very many puzzles other than maybe on his computer. I homeschool my son so sometimes I also use this puzzle to keep my son occupied if I have to do something around the house. I do wish it was slightly bigger so that each state had their own spot (there are about seven-or-so smaller states put together on two different tiles, the rest have their own spot), but it's not an issue at the moment. I love that it's magnetic, it helps us keep from losing the smaller pieces.

This is a great product!! My 2 1/2 year old is obsessed with puzzles and he immediately loved it!! The board is nice and sturdy and the magnet pieces are high quality. Love that the state side includes the capitals as well as pictures for each state. Haven’t played with the president side much yet but will be another fun activity once he’s older

There are so many USA puzzles out there, and I took a month of research before I bought this for my geography-loving four-year-old for Christmas. At the time, he was really into the states and capitals, and I knew that the USA map side would meet his current needs and the presidents puzzle on the other side would be a great next challenge for him.The genius part of this puzzle is the fact that it’s magnetic. The pieces fit together beautifully and they stay put to meet the needs of any perfectionist kid like mine. The only teeny tiny complaint I have is that I wish the shape of the states had a little more detail. I get that they wanted to keep the shapes simple, but it’s a little too simplified. Regardless, I absolutely love this puzzle and highly recommend it!

This is a FABULOUS puzzle. I must admit I bought it for a different reason. During the coronavirus outbreak I thought it would be helpful to have a visual of where the outbreaks are. Each day I'd prepare a report on what states have had the most cases and then I'd use your puzzle to only put the pieces on it to show where its the worst to get a good visual.That really is helpful to see. I'll pass it on to my grand kids for school when this virus is over but for now its a helpful tool and very well made.. Great job to the developers of it. This is such nice quality. Thanks for this product
