Leaps and Ledges Game

My 8-year-old grandson gladly gave up his video games for this game, and he didn't want to stop playing it. I had to agree that it was super fun---easy to learn, quick to play, simple enough for young kids to learn, but with enough strategizing that adults can also enjoy. Definitely a WINNER of a game!

My family thoroughly enjoyed this game. Kids with ages ranging from 7 (who gleefully focused on knocking others off ledges) to college sophomores had fun and played multiple games. The object is to have your 4 pawns reach the top ledge before anyone else's do, rather like a vertical Sorry game. The twist is the much-more-frequent instances of knocking someone else's pawns off the board with use of cards like Rampage! (takes out all pawns in your path of 5 forward spaces) and Wild 4 (you can move forward or backward 4, or move an opponent 4). Highly recommend.

This is a fun game to play with the whole family (8 and above). Some games you get tired of, but this one is great. We added numbers to each level with a tape machine which made it a bit easier to remember which level you were moving too. Highly recommended!!

I Gave this game to my grandson for CHRISTMAS and he loved it. The whole family plays.

Bought this game after reading several positive reviews. Loved the bright colors and ease of assembly and disassembly. Had a bunch of kids here for spring break, ages 6-14, and hoped it might entertain them. After spending less than 5 minutes reading the directions and explaining the rules, the kids played it on their own. For hours. They've pulled it out and played each day since then, too. Definitely a win!

Great game. Wish it was possible to make it more sturdy as it is very easy to tip pieces off the ledges during play.

Easy to learn and challenging enough. The more player the merrier and more fun. Though 2 can get decent play out of it. My 9 y.o. gets frustrated if he loses to me. Overall, another game to recommend.

There is some strategy to this game. Any while for kids, parents can actually enjoy playing this one. Got it when my son was 7 and still playing now that he is 9. Lots of use out of this game.
