The Leland cartridges worked well in a Healthways Plainsman 175 BB pistol. These work perfect for a replacement for an air pressured toilet plunger. The air powered toilet unclogger uses these and sells them at a ridiculous price.

Before I ordered, I read all of the reviews and read them to my husband, as well, so he'd be able to get it to fit a Twist 'n Sparkle. He made it with a simple strip of cardboard from the packaging and it works great. I think it's more carbonation than the Sparkletts, actually, I'd read that they have less and I don't find that to be the case. Also, I'd heard of the different opinions about an aftertaste on feedback and so we ordered the small package first (10 charges) to try it out. I have a pretty sensitive palate and the taste isn't that different. I don't get the aftertaste unless it's not cold enough (my own fault). Other than that, taste can also be influenced by the water itself and, since my local water is full of delicious, nutritious heavy metals, the taste is different from one day to the next anyway. The money you save is truly worth it.This part is just a personal tip, but I also have hereditary health issues that have been giving me a rough time over the last 15 years or so. If Perrier makes you feel better when you're nauseated or you tummy isn't quite settled, get the cartridges like this and a Twist 'n Sparkle and you (and a loving spouse) will feel much better! :)

I have pretty sensitive taste and using these to carbonate pure, distilled water reveals a hint of machine-oil aroma to it. My friend agreed. It's less of an issue if you're carbonating flavored beverages or food, but i don't know... the thought of knowing that it doesn't seem 100% pure/food safe is kind of upsetting.

I had been searching for the short CO2 cartridges (8 gram) for my Plainsman (Healthways) BB pistol for a long time. This vendor had them at my door in 3 days and for less than I paid for them 30 years ago. I had forgotten how much fun this pistol was and it worked perfectly with these cartridges. It always pays to check on Amazon!!

 They do not fit in catridges. i thought they were cheap and tried them but they were and are meant for seltzer. Not the thing I expected but in the photo they are too small for the gun. Strictly meant for seltzer and other things. Do not waste your money on this if you need c02 for airsoft/bb only buy it if you have a seltzer machine or keg.

I don't think these cartridges can be used in a whipped cream dispenser. The CO2 leaves a somewhat bitter taste, leaving the whipped cream unusable.
