Callaway Golf Iron Headcovers

This item is a counterfeit. I bought to replace a few recently lost covers from my Calloway set. The stitching and shape is different. And the logo is even misshaped. My finger is pointing to some shoddy stitching that will likely fray and fall apart. Terrible.

I purchased a new set of irons this year which I had held off doing for nearly 20 yrs. When I purchased my new set of irons I said to myself.. I can't just let those heads bang off each other seeing I just purchased them brand new. So I went and bought these. They had great reviews before I bought them therefore I gave them a shot. They slip on and off easily and don't fall off on there own. So glad I made the purchase, May seem a little out of sort seeing that everyone I play with doesn't use head covers but they don't have brand new clubs either. They look great. If you protect your irons they will be worth a lot more if you go to re-sell them later on. If I were you and had a new or reasonably new set... I'd buy them!!

These are a perfect fit on my Callaway Apex CF16's. They were too tight for my old Steelhead XR's due to the larger heads but on the Apex they fit like a glove.

Overall, I'm happy with my decision to purchase these headcovers for my Diablo Edge iron set. They allow me to bang around my golf bag between my apartment, trunk of my car, and the driving range or golf course without nicking up the the irons. Are these necessary? No probably not. But for the amount you spend on a decent set of irons, I see no harm in keeping them covered and putting some light padding between them. I got the knack for sliding them on and off pretty quickly. Some who rotate through their clubs a lot might find it a mild inconvenience, but I just toss them into the basket on the golf cart like I would for my driver or wood covers. I agree that the X headcover which is meant to serve as a variable, should have just been made SW, but it hardly matters in the end. When I see the X, I know I'm reaching for my SW. The color in the picture is off. The center band is red, not pink, but it is not as deep of a red as my Callaway X-22 Golf bag. Just makes the set look nicer and more organized in my opinion and it keeps my irons safe. Worth having to slip them on and off while I play as far as I'm concerned.

I don't even play Callaway clubs, but I love how easily these breathable covers go on a variety of irons, protect them well, and dry out when wet quickly. The iron numbers are easy to read, and one of these covers will comfortably fit into your pocket when using a club. Using them on my Mizuno Hot Iron Pros, and previously on my Taylormade M2's.

I don't like beat up and banged up clubs, so when I bought my X Hot iron set last month, I started looking for a way to keep them looking good. Noticed that several people at the club use various brands of neoprene style covers, but I didn't really care for them. Came across these. Sharp! Bought a set for myself. When my wife saw them, she immediately asked me to order a set for her X Hot iron set. Done! She used a seam ripper to remove the X on the one head cover. WTH is an X? One of them needs to be an SW. That is my only complaint, but its not worth downgrading the rating. These do exactly what you want them to do: Slip on and off smoothly, and offer protection and silence! BTW, the standard size fits my X Hot irons perfectly.

I have a set of Callaway Big Bertha irons and they were getting scratched and dinged from all of the banging together of the clubs on the golf cart or in transit. I bought a set of these headcovers and I have been thoroughly impressed. The are nice looking, well made, nicely padded and fit tightly on the irons. The only challenge is keeping up with them so I don't have to buy a new set. The set includes 9 covers, 4 through 9, PW, SW and an additional cover marked "X" for your gap/approach wedge. I would have preferred one more wedge cover or elimination of the 4 iron cover since few people I know actually have a 4 iron in their bag, but I can just mark the additional covers as I need to. I have seen a lot of headcovers in Golfsmith and other stores and for the money, these are the best that you will find.

These covers are snug but not too tight. Easy to get on and off. I finally bought a really nice set of irons and these will protect them and look good doing it! I used the will use the 4 cover for my approach / utility wedge, the 5 cover for my lob wedge and the X fits my old (but much loved) blade putter. Very pleased with this purchase !

I bought these for my callaway cf 16 irons a couple of months ago. They fit perfectly and I haven't lost any yet. I have tried numerous different types of iron covers (expensive and cheap) and always seem to lose some on the course ie.they slip off. These without doubt are the best. Even where the numbering is positioned is good for picking out which club you need. Highly recommended.

I don't recall the advert saying covers were oversize. They are so loose on my Mizuno MP59 irons that most annoyingly I lost the 9 iron cover on the first round I played with them - I have purchased these before and those were not oversize so I didn't think of checking the small print. I would welcome a replacement set or at least a replacement for the 9 iron.

Good quality head covers. The opening is a little on the small side so sliding the clubs in isn't super easy but they are secure. Much better than the cheap neoprene ones I had before.

Rubbish,as wasn't told they were oversized!!!kept falling off!and I have got Callaway.Chucked them in rubbish bin!Wast of money

One head over falls off every time I play golf so I expect to have to buy a new set very soon but it won't be this type for sure.

they are very tight and sometimes hard to take off and put back on, but they do protect the shafts of the other clubs from being damage. So great for shipping / transporting but adds a bit of a delay during regular play putting them on and off
