Good for the price but has balancing issues
Decent for the price. Only issue is there is no adjustment for the gimbal centering and as a result it's impossible to get this truly balanced. It can be balanced great for one orientation of the handle, but as soon as you change it the balance becomes slightly off. Still, I'm able to get very good results for a while before having to re-balance.

No Instructions
Not a horrible product. But honestly; pretty difficult to figure out. Please know that it DID NOT COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS!So keep that in mind before you purchase. Also quite difficult to find online instruction manuals or videos.

What I don’t like about this product is the included unico quick release system. Would have been better if it was aluminum.

Very nice alternative to the more expensive Glidecam
This is an initial review. Just got it. About me. I have never used any kind of stabilizer before this. I checked a ton of youtube videos. "Setting up and using the Glidecam HD2000" When I got it and I was able to set it up within 20 minutes. Here are some of the steps I followed1) Find the center of gravity of the camera using a pencil then mount the camera where the center of gravity aligns with the center pole2) Put weight thats 1/3 that of the camera and lens. Spread the bottom wings as far as you can3) Then work on the horizontal adjustment. (Both left to right and front to back).4) Then work on the drop time by adjusting the height.5) Then come back to work on the horizontal adjustment again if its gone off.Another thing that make it easy is that the version I got a table adapter that I can put the stabilizer on and then balance it. This seems to be an exact copy of Glidecam. Also I must insist that the reason why I think its works so fast is due to the fact that it has micro adjustment. Thats one thing I noticed that it differentiated from other cheaper stabilizers. You do need it. My guess is any stabilizer with micro adjustment makes it a lot easy to adjust. This allows you to move the adjustments in very small movements and it holds it there. The build quality is good. Also it comes with a quick release plate. Its plastic but it works well. You get a nice case also.I wish they had a lighter version for lighter cameras.
