Brilliant cut to size to fit in combi microwave, oven grill now working save me a lot of money don't have to replace appliance

Bought this for my parents new Neff microwave, upon unpacking the new unit they mistakenly took this deflecting card out thinking it was part of the packaging and when they tried to put it back they broke the tabs! This replacement card is pretty much like for like and was easy to put in (by me!) Microwave working as it should, no problems, plus there's a spare one included should anything else happen! All in all very pleased with our purchase.

The product looks good and is of the same thickness as the original which was a good start. The sizes are very accurate when purchasing, so this made purchasing it very easy as you know it will fit. My microwave is a Caple CM116 and it fitted perfectly but I suspect this fits dozens of others. There was a knack I wanted to pass on to fitting it as the waveguide could easily be bent. After about 10 minutes of trying to get this to fit and knowing that I could easily snap the guide lugs. I had the thought of putting a pen in the centre of the waveguide to bend it over with my thumb and fingers. This made fitting it very easy, just slide the pen out and it pops home nice and flat.

Great product. I wonder how many of my past microwaves I could have saved if I'd known that these things existed. You'll get two sheets with about room to cut two wave plates from each, depending on your model. Easy to cut with a kitchen scissors, just trace the old one, cut and slip into place. Doesn't bend well, my first attempt snapped, but there's enough product for a couple of errors. Shipping was fast, via amazon, regular post.

Exactly as required and does a good job.

Needed this to replace a damaged mica plate in my microwave, was the perfect fit and it was very easy to install. Highly recommend this, much easier and cheaper than buying a whole no microwave for the sake of a damaged mica plate. My advice, make sure this item will fit your type of microwave and if you are going to use solvents to clean your microwave oven, remove the mice plate before cleaning, as not to damage the item in future.

Works okay. However, food getting heated faster and slightly uneven heating.

I had noticed that my microwave wasn't performing well and would pump out smoke when in use. I did a little research into what might be the issue and realised that there is a small piece of silver card that directs the waves. Mine had aged and burnt (as you can see in the first picture) which meant that the microwaves weren't refracting correctly (could be other terminology!) I found the exact size replacements and bought a pack with a few in so that I can keep them handy for next time. They simply slide into the space where the old one has come from and everything works as it should. I am sure many microwaves end up getting scrapped when this happens, but a cheap repair can keep them going for a lot longer.

After my microwave started sparking for no particular reason like I had put metal in there (when I clearly hadn't), I was about ready to replace it. After doing a bit of research, it seemed like the wave shield had deteriorated over time and needed to be replaced. I bought these off of Amazon and it saved me around $100 having to replace the microwave. It just popped in and out so was very easy to install. I measured the old one and this one was a perfect replacement inside. I can't speak to durability but it did fix my microwave right up and see no reason why it won't last a while. My only point of concern would be to make sure that you store it in a flat place where it won't bend or it will be ruined. I got a two pack and the second one was stored in the side of a drawer and quickly snapped in half so it had to be tossed but still $15 for a quick easy repair versus $100 or more for a microwave was a small price to pay.
