Update 4/7/2025:I don't take this every morning nor everyday. Just started out taking in the morning. I've noticed when I have low B-P (usually happens within an hour or less after eating) this helps raise it up. Low B-P makes me feel sleepy and awful. It upped my numbers 10 points each time I've tried when B-P was low. I was able to go out when I thought I was going to have to cancel my plans this last Saturday.3/18/2025 Original Review: For all those struggling with the packaging. Simply fold in half along the perforation length-wise. Slip your nail under the foil in the middle and pull from the middle inside towards the outer left or right side edge. I have had no troubles opening this way and I'm a 100 lbs, with little strength. No need for scissors or anything else to get pills out.I have taken on an empty stomach in the morning with coffee. No stomach upset. I typically struggle with constipation in general. These help me go to the bathroom within 20 min of taking. Despite being a round tablet, they aren't hard to swallow.I am hoping it will bring back my appetite, stop me from feeling lethargic and without energy.A lack of iron can cause loss of interest in intimacy and breathing issues, feeling like you're not getting enough oxygen/air. Hair Loss as well. I suffer from all of these. I don't know if this will help as of yet, but it doesn't upset my stomach nor constipate me. Hooray!Also, Fumarate is found in nature and is a metabolite, meaning you can metabolize it better than any other form. It has the highest amount of Elemental Iron at 33% vs. other versions such as Ferrous Sulfate or sulfuric acid which is corrosive and Elemental Iron is only 20% and Gluconate form Elemental Iron is 12% per article online from Medical News Today.

This iron supplement is the best for low iron. I had an oncologist recommend specifically and said with the other OTC brands you will only get minimal absorption. I can tell when I start taking this that my energy improves and I don't feel sluggish anymore. I have been using this for years and continue to by this product and the quantity for the price is very economical. I would highly recommend it.

I don't know why its not easy to find Ferrous Fumarate iron. I got this because my other brand was out of stock. The tablet it's self is fine its iron does the job. I don't like the packaging. I opened all the blister packets and put all the bills in my old bottle.

It is very hard to peel back and get the pill out. Just put the pills in a bottle. It's very irritating and takes to much time. Seems to work effectively, I guess. I was taken off the B12 injections and now taking this pill.

Wow! I’m completely and thoroughly impressed by these. They have less additives than some other brands (colorants, etc) and they are available through subscribe and save. I get heavy eyelids and feel like I could sleep 20 hours when my iron gets low. I’ve been anemic since I was a child and I’ve tried every iron supplement known; heme and non-heme. I’m all set with raising my cholesterol through liver pills and I’ve read this form of iron is absorbed well for a non-heme form. After 1 day of taking 1 pill, I feel like my old self again. My fatigue is gone and I wake up energized and “normal” feeling. I take these and I’m back in action! Also, did not experience any constipation, nausea or cramping with these. Did have a bit of a loose stool but can’t blame these since I had Mexican for dinner.

I was informed that during my pregnancy I needed to take Ferrous Fumarate. I took it the first 6 weeks of my pregnancy until I randomly noticed on the box it says it contains TALC! I am beyond livid that a product would contain an ingredient that has been proven to be linked to cancer. There have been massive lawsuits regarding Talc in baby products including baby powder and the links to cancer and autism. I am also pregnant, have been on a strict healthy 100% organic diet,All chemical products removed from home and replaced with EWG verified, stopped using pesticide services (all recommendations from our fertility specialist..etc..made MASSIVE sacrifices to give my husband and I the chance to have a healthy pregnancy, and then discover this dangerous ingredient has been in a product. Extremely angry that they would include such a dangerous ingredient in something that we ingest! And I am really concerned of the negative impact that this may have caused our baby.
