KICKER46CWTB102 TB10 10-inch Loaded Weather-Proof Subwoofer Enclosure w/Passive Radiator - 2-Ohm, 400 Watt

My Canam defender max limited had four 6 1/2 inch speakers and zero base. After doing a lot of reading about different subwoofer options, I decided to go this route and I’m extremely happy. I paired it with a kicker 600.1 mono amplifier and I have very nice full sound now. I’m not going to win any audio file competitions with my set up, but that’s not what I was looking for. One of the reasons I went this route was because I could fit it on the floor under the rear seat on the driver side without any modifications to my UTV.

Great addition to my boat vertical mounting option takes up little room hits hard.

I put this in my 2024 Canam Defender Max limited.I installed it under my rear seat and this thing rocks! I have always had custom subs and was very unsure of this doing the job. I have 4 Rockford 6.5 with a 4 channel 500w and I am powering this sub with a Rockford 500w mono and it fills the sound for this size system. AND..the bass can be heard from outside the vehicle as well, incase you were wondering. LOL. I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend this.

********Update*********Now 2 full summers thru and going on summer 3. This thing is a WORK HORSE! I boat probably 25 hours a week and this thing just keeps going and going. Key is you need the watts to run this. A lot of the issues with these is with people only giving these 100-200 watts. 300 watts minimum and I would suggest north of 400. I am pushing 500 watts rms and I would be willing to bet it could take an easy 20% more and still be fine.This thing is solid. I have it powered by 500 watts RMS and this thing pounds. The only issue I have, and it is totally my fault, is because I installed 8 more 6.5" speakers on my pontoon boat I have no place to mount this where it doesn't get static from another speaker. So right now I literally have it where I put it on the bench seat and can move it at will. When I am done boating I just unplug it and take it with me. So far that has worked well for me and I will probably just keep it like that.For the price I can't imagine anything that is marine grade beating this. Solid buy if you have the money to buy and buy something with enough power to push this. You will NOT be disappointed.

Sounded awful

I have purchased Two of these subwoofers now. The first one I purchased I would have rated a 4 star because of the mount but kicker improved the mount on the second one which makes it much easier to install and review. This sub makes all the difference in your sound system. Love kicker product have purchased several amps and speakers for RV and Boats and never let down with the sound quantity.

First off I bought both the 8 and 10 version. The 10 inch version fits best in between the storage bins in the front seat of my 2017 polaris ranger ranger crew xp 1000. Giving about 250 or 300 watts rms. Its pretty impressive. Whole system is loud and clear. Running a skar 5 channel amp and its great. Wanted the tube for it water and mud/dirt proof. Can just rinse off when dirty. Overall happy with it. Cheaper than buying a 300 or more enclosure then buying a sub.Sound better than just a single 10 sealed sub. The passive does help.

Bit disappointed in bass quality at this price. being driven by a rockville 2ch 1500w peak marine amp. Using single channel as amp not designed for bridged 2ohm load, expected more bass unless 375watt is not enoughEasy mounting, would have liked to have seen better connection terminal screw set vs spring load.
