UPDATE: I received a replacement sheath and there was no problem with the leather cracking when flexed. The outside of the sheath wasn't as heavily finished so the leather wasn't as stiff. If you really want your sheath to last treat it before using with a good quality leather dressing (LL Bean's Boot Guard). Avoid any product that contains petroleum distillates, it is death to leather. It's the reason I had to replace the sheath in the first place. Apply the dressing liberally inside and out and use a hair drier to assist absorption into the leather. Initially you may want to do it more than once.Leather was totally dried out so much so that the leather cracked when the sheath was opened and closed. Either the item was improperly stored or it's a manufacturing defect. I've elected to receive a replacement so I will update when the replacement is received. Otherwise the sheath fits my Old Timer 1250T. The belt loop is really tight but I suspect it will loosen over time. If you wear a wide belt you might find this really annoying. I wish the case was made the same way that it was 30 years ago when I bought the knife.

I bought this because all the Victorinox cases for my WorkChamp wear out too fast. The original leather one with velcro close lasted maybe 6 years but I couldn't find a replacement. The Nylon one only lasted 1 year before the velcro was shot.Anyway, WorkChamp fits reasonably well in this case. It's a little bulkier than I was hoping but I think that's just from how leather is assembled.-1 Star because picture does not match product received. Picture shows "SCHRADE" embossed on the flap. Product I received says "OLD TIMER" in a western font. Not happy about that. But it does seem very durable and well built. We'll see how long it lasts.

Perfect fit for an older, large pocketknife. Fits easily on belt and is very solid and well made. Much better choice than wearing out pocket of jeans or wearing a hole in the bottom of the pocket. Came with a little aging on the leather. Some conditioning cleaned it right up. Quality cut of leather.

Excellent quality. I actually used the sheath to make a diy pistol sheath for the North American Arms Pug. Worked out really nice. I had to make two small cuts - one on each side - to accommodate the gun trigger and hammer, soaked the sheath in hot, soapy water for about 5 minutes, wrapped the gun in plastic and put it the holster, molded the sheath to fit the contours of the gun, and allowed to it dry. Then I stained the leather with a few coats of brown Kiwi Leather (Shoe) Polish and allowed to dry. After this used a few coats of Bick 4 leather conditioner. Nice satin sheen with just a bit more brownish color than the original color. Very pleased with this diy project.

Great sheath! This sheath will fit any 3-1/2 inch blade (5 inch overall length) folding lock-back knife perfectly. I'm using it to house my rather expensive Klein Tools 44037 Sportsman knife. It's finely crafted of thick top-grain leather and bears the "OLD TIMER" logo. (not as pictured on most websites including Amazon). I have every confidence in this Schrade sheath as it's fabricated of quality materials. The only difference between this sheath and the Klein Tools 5186 sheath is that the Klein model possesses rivets at each end of the main stitching to prevent unraveling and increase strenth at these vulnerable spots. Klein Tools are truly an Electrician's and Lineman's heavy duty choice and I'm currently a retired electrician myself.

Looks good and works better, nothing cheep about it. Best quality holster I have.
