Just put it in your cart! Mango butter is a great base for skin care recipes. This SPECIFIC brand/company is now my number one ☝🏽 reference. Besides the quality, the customer service is fantastic. I got an email from the owner notifying me that my order was shipped. Then a personable second email about a week later checking up on my order and the product. All-around great company great product and I even got a generous coupon towards my next purchase. Just a few things to mention: The packaging the item comes in is not reusable therefore I transferred the mango butter into a mason jar. The mango butter has no odor. It's extremely smooth. I used it to make my own homemade deodorant, recipe is below. ( this Batch is doubled, so if you want to make a single batch cut everything in half) 2 tablespoons of unrefined virgin coconut oil 2 tablespoons of organic beeswax 2 tablespoons of mango butter--- I put all that into a glass bowl and I set it on top of a sauce pan with some water to make a double boil pot. Let the water simmer under the glass pot until all of the oils and butters are melted.--- turn the heat off, then start adding second batch of ingredients, see below : 1 tablespoon of Arrowroot powder 1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil--- mix together until well combined--- then start adding 40 drops of your essential oil's of choice.--- I did 10 drops of thieves, 10 drops of lavender, 10 drops of lemon, 10 drops of Teatree oil. These oil's have multi benefits to them therefore , those are the reasons why I picked to use these specific oils in my homemade deodorant. This whole thing makes shy of 8 ounces. I cannot guarantee that any other mango butter will be as good in a recipe as the one from this company. As the mango butter makes the whole thing great.

Great consistency, very buttery and dissolves nice. I was able to snip the corner and squeeze out a little at a time. Melts much faster than the shae butter and is soaked up by the skin quickly. Has a nice almost sweet smell to it and a cream color. My first time using mango butter, I bought this for my eczema. I’ve not had to use the rx steroid cream since I started using this a couple of days ago.

I've ordered this mango butter multiple times. Each time, the quality of the product was excellent. I use this mango butter as an ingredient for cold process soaps, various heat emulsion lotions, and face moisturizer. I even have an amazing body scrub formula that I use it for!! Because mango butter has a nicely balanced fatty acid profile, it is a truly versatile raw ingredient for numerous skincare products. In fact, I plan to use it in a lip balm formula as well. Overall, my experience buying this particular product has been outstanding. Thus, I would recommend this mango butter to others. And, by the way, the shea butter by this company is equally superb - many of my formulas use both products!If anyone has a question for me, please ask. Cheers! :)

Before trying mango butter I used shea butter daily. The thing I did like about the mango butter was that it wasn't as thick but I really disliked the fact that it crumbled so much and didn't break down like shea butter. As I rubbed it on my skin I would have little balls of it all over. Not really a big deal but it definitely didn't glide on easily. My skin is usually very dry and I do have eczema--I was hoping that the mango butter was going to keep me moisturized by found myself very itchy by the next day after application. I was really wanting to like the mango butter better but the shea butter worked better for me.

I am giving this product 1 star solely based on the smell of the product. It smells very old as if it were made decades ago, and nothing can mask the smell, as I have tried it with lavender oil, rose oil, and mixed it with Shea Butter that I ordered from the same company. Maybe it was just a bad batch, or maybe it was left sitting around for too long. Regardless, the product is not usable due to this.

UPDATED REVIEW:Wasn't expecting such good customer service, the company resolved the issue in a timely manner . I will re order hoping that it was just a reaction from our part .------------------------------------Not what I was expecting , I order shea and mango butter from same company. This was my second batch for the Shea and first time for mango. One of those two or both cause bad allergic reaction on my toddler’s skin and it’s upsetting because I’ve made my homemade bony lotions for a long time and this is the first time that this happens ... my skin is even a little itchy. Now i have two opened packages that i have to throw away!? They are both crumbly and look about the same in color super soft ... don’t remember having that issue before.

A few years ago I decided to use more natural skin care products but could not afford most of the eco-friendly lotions I found in stores and online. I have been using this company's shea butter for a few years (combining it with coconut oil) to make my own "everything" lotion. I finally branched out and tried a 1:1:1:1 with this company's mango butter, shea butter, cocoa butter, and trader joes coconut oil. This new concoction works great! I also purchased zinc powder and am looking forward to making a daily face cream with sun protection. I love this company and will continue to purchase their products as long as I am making my own lotions.

So glad I found this mango butter! I'm not a huge fan of shea butter (the smell and texture are a bit too strong), but the mango butter has just the right amount of hold, with a much milder scent. The butter was well packaged and arrived quickly with no leakage or mess. For the price, the amount I received was surprisingly sufficient. I made a DIY hair and body cream using half the block of mango butter, some cocoa butter, aloe vera gel, vitamin E oil, Jojoba and rosehip oil and olive oil. Whipped it all up with a hand mixer and it works perfectly for locking in moisture in my hair, and giving deep moisture on my arms and legs. Will reorder when I'm out
