Works as Expected...Would be Better with Better Directions
Does a great job of transmitting the data signal to multiple lines/strips and relaying the data for the light pattern to remain constant. Depending on how many strips you are using, however, you may need to inject power to the strips themselves. Would have been better had it come with some solid instructions on proper wiring setup and what wires to run and where. Overall, would recommend this item for management of multiple LED strips.

Perfect for smart Christmas lights
Solid piece of electronic equipment. Well made. Ran three separate Christmas decorations with one controller off this and it worked perfectly. The decorations were approximately 5 meters away from the controller and there was no degradation of the signal. It simply worked.

Can link multiple sp901es together with almost no voltage drop
It makes it easy to troubleshoot any strip and there is no voltage drop across the four outputs for about 5 meters it's small size makes it handy to put in places also

Intentional mislead
The photo on this product description is an example of intentional bait and switch without the act. Why would they show 2 units when only one is included? Aside from that, this signal repeater is not waterproof at all. In fact there are some openings large enough to allow any insect or rodent to make it home As far as the repeating function, I have not finished installing any of the 4 i purchased yet and may not use them at all due to the vulnerability of the internal components if installed outside. Voltage requirement is flexible enough for most led lighting. Lastly, the signal in,out, and 4 outputs all have the same connector, however the wiring order is not the same so check your connections and don't forget to use fuses.

Performs well
This amplifier definitely increases the data signal to remote LEDS that are bound to a very long cable. I was actually very surprised on the performance. I plan on buying another one.

I received used product and clear marks of installing screw was seen. Unit didn't work. Ordered same model (SP901E) under different listing and worked like a charm.
