Zip Grinders - Large Herb Grinder - Four Piece with Pollen Catcher - 3.25 Inches Tall - Premium Grade Aluminum (2.5", Gold)

I have purchased 3 of these zip grinders, however my most recent purchase was a COMPLETE let down. I am still getting shards of aluminum shrapnel falling down into my herbs and even in the keif/pollen collection at the bottom; you can see visible slivers of metal from the grinder! Yes I cleaned this product before using and finding metal after that is just unacceptable and super unsafe!!! Would return if I could, not sure if its factory error or if the overall quality of this product has dimnished. Buyer beware.

I have a chromium gridner that I felt was old so I wanted something new. I tried this grinder and as far as grinding goes it does a pretty good job, but I'm still giving a 1 star for a few reasons.First of all, during my first time using the piece on top of the see thru plastic got stuck to the top blade section which made the plastic piece separate.Every time you grind something you have to hold the top 2 pieces for it to not get stuck again.Also, I never had 1 issues screwing my old grinder together. This one has some pretty bad grooves and it takes a while to get it right .Over all it's more of a pain to use it so I'm giving a 1 star

Pretty awesome product, and I would definitely recommend it. The look and finish are great, and I've gotten plenty of compliments on it from friends. However I give it four stars for a few nitpicks:-A few scratches on the metal finish when it arrived.-A decent amount of your 'herb' can get caught in the top part where you grind it up, and it can be tedious to clean it out/get the herb to fall down to where it should be collected.-Also, somehow a decent amount of 'pollen' gets into the area in which you twist the pieces of the grinder together, not into the actual bottom of the grinder. You can miss out on a good amount of pollen this way and it's frustrating at times.

Alright, so, this thing is extremely large. The description says that. That's fine. While trying to take the middle piece out, I sliced all my fingers on the incredibly sharp threads. Okay, still mostly my fault. Then the very first time I use it, it de-threads itself and gets stuck. I have been using grinders for years now. Every single gas station grinder that I have ever purchased is of significantly higher quality than this. This is literally trash.

This product looks like a good buy but the plastic middle part uses plastic threads to secure the parts and those plastic pieces break off and fall into your grind. I am not interested in consuming plastics. Tried to return and the return was denied. I may break the plastic bits away and use the metal parts of the grinder.Buyer beware!

These are the best grinders I have ever used. They work perfect and I Love the capacity. Catches fines perfectly in the bottom container and functions as well in the kitchen as it does on the rolling table. We have two just for that reason. If you grind fresh peppercorn, cumin seed, coriander seed or anything of the like, turn the grinder upside down and grind into the lid till desired size. A giant plus is you can see through the lid to determine the size without the need of constantly opening it. I highly recommend these and will buy another before I travel to the Netherlands for use over there.

I ordered this as a birthday present for my boyfriend. It looked very professional when it arrived. He was very pleased with it until the first time he used it.. As soon as he started grinding his first use, one of the pegs from the top part came lose. I don't think they put enough glue to hold the pegs in place. I tried to return or refund my order through the seller. But they had no options for both of those. I ended up calling Amazon and they refunded my order. However, I bought this for $8 New and now its selling Used for $18. What a rip off, not to mention the hassle of getting a refund from them.

I was very excited to buy a nice grinder for the first time (I usually stick to the $10 or less category), and I thought this would be the 'nice grinder' for me. Upon arrival I noticed that the clear pieces were not properly glued into place (if you rub you finger along the edge you can feel a gap between the metal and plastic); this was something that I was willing to overlook if the product did as it should, since grinders are about functionality in my opinion. Which brings me to the reason I am giving this product a 1 star review... the screen that separates the 2nd chamber from the 3rd (the flower chamber from the pollen chamber) was torn. Having a torn screen completely defeats the purpose of a multi-tier grinder.
