Ray Cook Golf Extreme Aim Chipper, 35, Left

I like this golf club .... BUT ..... it is unclear that it is a legal club.I emailed RayCook.com that question after one of my playing buddies questioned the club. The first reply was that is legal for recreational play. I am not even sure what that means.I wrote back, asking "how about tournament play". The reply today from RayCook.com is, "they are going to ask the manufacturer and get back to me".The extra effort getting me an answer by RayCook.com is great but ... the club is branded as Ray Cook. Why they have to ask the manufacturer is awkward.Still, I use the club. Our group walks our courses and we play to have fun and get the extra exercise. Thus ... we're not anal about every USGA rule and me having the club in my bag is not a big deal.However, if the final response from RayCook.com is that the club is not legal, well, I just won't use it if we play in a tournament.As for the clubs performance ... I do like it. I'm not strong with short chips to the hole. With this club, I have been able to get to a birdie or par putt distance well over 75% of the times I actually used it. In my world, that is good.I agree with other reviews that the club is best when you use a putting stroke.

Love this club use it about 3 times per round. Swing it like a putter. You can get it sailed in the be a perfect twinner club

Best club in the bag 40 to 80 for me....

After a little bit of practice - it's great!! Love it.
