This item was purchased to be used in my son's closet. We needed something to light up his clothes since the overhead lighting is poor in his room. The neon inspired design of the lights is amazing. The strand is one long continuous strand of light instead of multiple LEDs breaking up the flow of light from source to source. The included mounting brackets secure the lights to the inside walls of his closet. We had only a little snag when installing the brackets as they are angled inward to insure a snug fit to the light. The screws kept falling out when trying to mount them, but having a magnetic screwdriver would help solve this problem, and also one that is designed for tighter spaces. The mounts fit perfectly to the lights because they're a c clamp design, and I like this version of clip when compared to the round clips that come with most led rope lights.The lighting itself is a warm 3k light. Perfect lighting for a closet. Not too bright to blind you, and not so soft that you cannot see color differences in darker clothing.I love the neon style. Infact I am considering ordering longer strands to outline my game room as these lights just look amazing.

These cannot be cut and they arrived with white marks over the lights. They did work with Insteon dimmers.
