Worked for me but grommet was a tight fot
There’s an o ring and a grommet than needs to be swapped from the old motor. The grommet has 4 dots to line up. But I had to use a 22mm line wrench to beat the grommet on to this motor. It was super tight even after adding a little grease.

As state. Works great.
Everything lined up. Easy to change. Solid motor.

High hopes dashed :(
Wasn’t an exact match of the foot motor that stopped working on my Bissell Big Green (purchased new on Amazon about one year ago, so very late-model). It looks similar in many respects, but like others have mentioned the part that you must take off of your old motor and use with this motor wouldnt fit (I forget what it’s called now, but it’s basically a round bushing that goes around the motor shaft and ensures water stays out of the motor housing). I tried to modify it in number of ways to enlarge the inner diameter of the bushing, but even after a couple of hours in a lot of frustration, I couldn’t quite get it to sit properly on the shaft and ended up returning it. My suggestion would be to try and buy the part from Bissel’s website or elsewhere, because this is 100% not a direct replacement without some crafty modifications.

Perfect fit
At first, I thought it was missing a piece between the gear and housing. After dropping the old motor, that missing piece came of and slide onto the new motor easily.

Received a broken one, but fixed it with the donor.
It was well packaged; looked shiny and beautiful. However, as SOON as I received it, upon turning the shaft I heard a weird plastic-on-plastic sort of noise. I could see through the two cooling holes in the side that there was what appeared to be a tan-colored PCB floating around and interfering with the cooling fan. Using the broken donor from my carpet cleaner, I carefully practiced opening and removing that part from the old motor, and replaced it in the new one. Apparently it's just a little plain PCB that snaps into the white plastic brush holder and protects from debris and such. No big deal.Absolute pain I had to do it, but I felt it was quicker to fix it myself than go through the effort to send it back. My state is currently going through hurricane/monsoon season and I use the carpet cleaner to extract water from the carpets so I can't waste any time when I need it the most.

DOES NOT FIT 86T3
The motor is correct but the MOTOR ASSEMBLY is not correct for the Bissell big green 86T3. It is missing the spacer and the o-ring that are required to fit behind the geared cog on the shaft. The cog is pressed onto the shaft and will not come off without specialized tools, so out of the box, this is not a direct replacement. I will be returning and hoping everyone else will learn from my mistake.

Requires a part from the old motor!!!
Remove the grommet from the old motor, this part doesn’t come with it! Won’t work without!
