Fastest Powerline Adapters at the Time of the Recording
Full Video Review Here: https://youtu.be/e8nJYFtSCR0A Note for US Users, this kit will not work on US, not because of the power socket that you could use an adapter, but because of the voltage that is diferent making these adapter only usable in EuropeAt the time of the recording these are the fastest powerline adapters i have reviewd so far.The Powerline adapter has 2x Ethernet connections + fastest Wifi AC and on top you can connect devices up to 3600W on each of the adapters.Incredible Wifi AC speeds that in real world performance will give you the exact same speed as a direct connection of a ethernet cable directly connected to your router or swich. It comes with a incredible software called Devolo Cockpit that will give you full control of your network as you can see on the video. The Devolo Cockpit can be used in OSX, Windows, Android and IOS.Some of the features include:- Turn ON / OFF Leds, DHCP Settings, Security settings, Turn ON / OFF Wifi, Wifi Time Control, Guest accounts with expiration times, Parental Controls and much more.Hope it helps on your decisionRJ

Devolo cured our WiFi Woes!!! (And tips on how to 'reconfigure' if the router LED flashes red.....)
Great product! This has cured our 'WiFi woes" !!Our 100+ year old house has a loft conversion and a kitchen extension, both of which were WiFi black spots. I was initially sceptical that the system would work with the wiring in the house, given the extensions and mixture of old and new wiring (not to mention 2 fuse boxes!!).I plugged the adapter into the router and a mains socket, then plugged the dLan 1200+ WiFi ac box into another socket in the same room, and followed the instructions in the little booklet supplied (read through this before you start messing with the boxes!) . Initially, I just set the system up so I had my router WiFi and then had to swap to the 'Devolo network' in the settings of the tablet I was using when I moved out of the router range and into the kitchen. I then (following the instructions in the booklet!) managed to 'clone' my home network onto the dLan 1200+ WiFi ac box AND the second dLan 1200+ WiFi ac box that I bought separately for the loft rooms in our house.I am not at all a 'Techy' person and was really surprised how just how easy it was to set the system up - 'cloning' the router Wifi was a little more tricky, but still relatively straightforward. We now have full strength WiFi all over the house (even the rooms that had '0-1 bar'). My children are very happy!Quite expensive kit, but well worth it.Update: still working well, but had minor glitch. The router unit LED started flashing red and there was no wifi signal around my other two units. Contacted Devolo and the solution they sent worked. Apparently I needed to 'reconfigure' the adapters. Here are the instructions that I was sent. How to reconfigure your adapters1. Plug an adapter next to the router adapter and wait for about 45 seconds2. Press the dLAN-button (cut out on the right hand side of the device; small opening on the right hand side of the ethernet port) on both adapters for about 15 seconds with a paper clip, if necessary.3. Unplug both adapters, plug them back in and wait for another 45 seconds4. Press the dLAN-button* on both adapters for less than a second and wait for 2 minutes or wait until the power LED stops flashing. Please always start with the router-adapterIf you have more than 2 adapters, continue with the steps 5-8.5. Keep the router adapter plugged in, unplug the other one and plug in the next adapter. Wait for 45 seconds.6. Press the dLAN-button on the device you just plugged in for about 15 seconds7. Press the dLAN-buttons, beginning with the router adapter, on both adapters for less than a second and wait for 2 minutes or until the power LED stops flashing.8. Repeat steps 5-7 until all adapters have been configured.

Very good upgrade on dLAN 500 and works seamlessly together
I have had the Devolo dLAN 500 (Triple) Wi Fi for a couple of years which has been excellent in extending the Wi Fi in a 1930s House with solid walls, I have a TP Link 1900 router 2.4ghz and 5ghz (Virgin Media 150 Broadband with the virgin router just used as an access box) is in a small office on the back of the house. We have an Amazon Fire TV Box and Now TV Box attached to the TV in the lounge which were connected wireless to a Devolo 500. I wanted to get both those TV boxes cabled direct and also get 5ghz in the Lounge as the 5ghz signal gets weak from the router once in another room. Setting up took a while but is straightforward as I had the cockpit software installed already. I swapped the 1200 main unit and it immediately picked up the two 500 boxes, I then added and set up the 1200 box and then cloned all the boxes to the Hub using the Cockpit software, My wiring in the house is a mix of very new and very old and this makes a big difference on transmission. When the 1200 Slave is on the new ring main near the router its very very fast and I was getting 650 mbps but the wiring next to the TV is old and it drops to 150 mbps (It was 101 so you need to bear that in mind and experiment. I have no issue as I wanted double RJ45 cables to the amazon/now TV and also that 5ghz wireless signal in our lounge. The new 1200 master has massivley improved the speed of the 500 slaves and overall I seem to be getting about 50% higher mbps than before on all the slaves both 500/1200. I have put the spare 500 slave on the first floor and thats giving me 270/280 mbps and its also on older wiring. The two hard wired TV boxes so far are totally stable and i hope the old buffering over Wi Fi is no more! The only thing I find odd is that the 1200 slave shares the same SSD for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz whereas my router has separate SSD for 5ghz. So in summary this has been a very good upgrade with about 50% gains and all the TV stuff hard wired plus the upstairs boosted for the teenagers. I can see more getting one more slave on the first floor (4 Beds) as some stage to complete the Wi Fi. Its great that the 1200/650/500 can all work together. I have wandered all over the house like a nerd testing the Wi Fi speeds and a phone app to make sure its moving seamlessly and giving decent wireless speeds and its all good. Screenshots of below and after with gains.Update June 2018 - see 3rd screenshot, still Performing superbly, have added another 500 Duo (Non WiFi) with two LAN Hard wired cables for Amazon/Now TV Boxes, have moved the 1200 WiFi receiver to another socket in our open plan back of the house which is a newer Ring Main and have upgraded to everything to Virgin 350. Superb speeds on all and I have even managed to link it to an old TP Link 200 adapter for my Spotify/Pebble Hub /Music System which shows on the cockpit software (No speed given). Now getting around 550 - 650 mbps on the 1200 Box on the better modern ring main wiring, My sons room is above and he says the speed is superb with 5Ghz.

Good then bad.
Having used Devolo extenders in the past I was happy to upgrade to the 1200+ and they did improve everything as promised. But now, 2 years down the line they are failing and I am having to revert to the older units that I own (300's and 500's which are still working). The 1200's seem to get rather hot even though they have plenty of space all around them for airflow and are not placd near any other heat generating equipment. The 500's run extremely cool in comparison. It is a lot of money to shell out for 2 years worth of reliability then failure.

Worked Perfectly on Outbuilding Second Fuse Box Set Up
I've just set this up and thought I'd write a review to guide any folk who were looking at this as an option to get a shed or outbuilding online. I know I was looking for some assurance before I bought.I've just had my summerhouse insulated and wired with its own fuse box from the main fuse box in the house. I was concerned that this would mean that the Powerline tech would struggle or, worse still, fail to work. I needn't have worried.First this piece of kit took about five minutes to set up. I first got the two adaptors working with each other on sockets in the same room. Then I took the plunge and move out to the summerhouse, expecting to be disappointed or frustrated. However, the Devolo kit powered up, found the connection again and performed brilliantly. According to the Cockpit software, I've got a 113mbits/sec connection to my summerhouse and I'm delighted. Very, very impressed and hugely relieved.

No more dead spots in a three storey house
I have Virgin Media hub 200mb broadband, I have my office in the 3rd floor attic (Hub on groundfloor). Originally I was getting 3mb speed. I bought the devolo 500mb wifi powerline adaptors, this upgraded my speeds to the attic to 45mb (This was great). One issue I had was the over the 2 years I had to unplug the adaptor and plug it in again as the speed woud reduce to 1.5mb (Used Speedtest.net) on a regular basis, this was a minor problem, but showed that it was not 100 pecent stable. But I was very happy with the product. So upgrading up after 2 years to the Devolo 1200+ Wifi start kit was a no brainer, with the added inclusion of the RANGE+ TECHNOLOGY in this product was the extra option that made me go for this product. I have had it for a week and I am getting 150-160mb fom this product, so three times the speed of my previous product. It has been very stable and I would recommend this to anybody that has wifi dead spots in your home. As I would like to comment on the Devolo Cockpit free app. I have used this to fine tune the adaptor to my needs, it has the option of setting up guest accounts that can be time limited.
