Good, solid pan
I don’t broil often, but I’m always happy with the results when using this pan. It’s plenty big and cleans up well. Anything that gets burnt on can be addressed with a good soak and some steel wool. Way back when, manufacturers used to provide a pan like this when you purchased a stove. The quality of this pan is like those. For the young ones out there, be careful! It’s stamped metal and the edges can be sharp. Ever gotten a paper cut? If paper can be sharp enough to slice your fingers, just imagine what can happen if you don’t pay attention when handling a sheet of metal.

Defective but still worthwhile ...
I did a great deal of research before making this purchase, and reasoned beforehand that at this price point a small degree of imperfection would be acceptable. Bear in mind I had secondhand access to an all-stainless steel mint condition "original" broiler pan from the 1950s (with edges capable of delivering "paper cut" type incisions). And so a manufacturer's defect in the form of tiny dents together with proportionate missing enamel (see image) in the context of delivering smooth edges, easy clean-up, overall sturdy construction, and a low price point were not dealbreakers for me. I would be lying to say I'm not concerned with the prospect of rusting in the exposed areas; for the time being I consider myself fortunate for having ducked those nightmarish edges.

Bought this USED and it's EXACTLY what we wanted!!
Very pleased to say it fits PRECISELY into the broiler drawer of a GE Model JGBS30DEK6WW oven! Ordered this item as "Used:Very Good" to save a few bucks, and that's exactly what we got. It is Very Good indeed. The metal is of a satisfactorily heavy weight and stiffness, displaying ZERO flexing when removed from the packaging and handled, assembled, and fit tested in the oven drawer. There is one single clearly visible moderate chip in the enamel finish right at the middle point on one edge of the slotted pan, probably from an accidental impact, with an accompanying slight dent in the metal that adds a slight roughness. Neither the chip or the dent interfere at all in any way in the function of these items. They are purely cosmetic defects. The rest of the surfaces look brand new, and should never be difficult to clean as long as we maintain these pans correctly. We intend to sand these piffling dings smooth with the appropriate type of superfine carbide sanding paper. Should take maybe ten minutes. All other edges of the slotted pan and under-pan, as manufactured, are slightly rough but are NOT sharp and have NO burrs, and cannot do injury under normal handling. A last thought: Since the chip is not in an area that would ever touch food, it might not be an entirely bad idea to hunt down some fishing lure epoxy powder, after checking the stuff for food safety...purely to reduce any chance of the dinged edge picking up rust if it's washed but not thoughtfully dried.

Nice broling pan and also for roasting on racks.
Nice quality. If you are roasting on a little rack, cook more slowly and add a little water so that the gravy drippings don't dry out in this rather large pan. Good for broiling also.
