I love the final result but the build process suffered from really bad instructions. Overall, I would recommend it, but it’s better for modelers with a bit of experience.

Compared to the other parts of my N Scale layout this particular building just seems huge and out of place.

The parts in this kit are very precise, no problems with assembly, and the details are distinct. All things considered, this is an excellent product. The one potential downside to one not expecting it is that N-scale is very small, everything is 1/160th of actual size -- 1" thus scaled is a little over the thickness of a human hair. For that reason, this kit isn't really for kids working alone, and adults without experience will find it challenging but rewarding. The completed model, with my own weathering added, looks great on my layout.1 star was deducted because the instructions could benefit from a couple of extra paragraphs and illustrations.

Love the detail on this kit. It will be perfect for my layout. It was easy and fun to build as well.

I assembled the N scale version and while it isn't a "shake the box" kit it isn't extremely difficult either. I would suggest masking and painting the walls before assembly on the N scale kit, the grey concrete color is fine to leave as is and then weather it after assembly. Building has an interesting footprint and is tall enough to provide the proper ratio to N scale train models. It has several options that will allow one to close off the track in the building should you prefer to remove this feature. Take your time and it will turn into a very satisfying finished kit.

Poorly designed kit made up of soft plastic. The various tank pieces just do not look great when assembled - even when carefully prepared and assembled the tanks with weld lines end up with missing vertical welds and the smooth tanks have visible seam lines that require a lot of clean up and sanding to fix, made more difficult by the soft plastic. Some of the larger tank weld lines have sprue gates directly on them making clean up difficult as well. For quick hobby details they are OK but for more experienced modellers the time would be better put into scratch building similar tanks.

Not overly impressed with this product. Instructions are lame, the glue should be included with it. The scale should better noted in the description this is not HO scale, it is N scale the smallest possible product for railroad diorama. I should’ve looked at the packaging closer when I got it then I could’ve sent it back. However, I have already started putting it together so I will have to keep it.
