I got this for my 18 month old only because his older brother would have his own advent calendar. For a kid his age who is a big fan of vehicles, it was fine. The first few vehicles were actually really cool. Then there was a long stretch in the middle of the month when it was essentially the same racecar every day in a different color, which bored my kid but he's so young he didn't care much, and then some poorly constructed trucks with stickers on upside down and bottoms that keep falling off and whatnot. Then the last three days were awesome fire trucks again. Again, he's 1.5, so for him it was fine, and for the price I wasn't surprised. He loves a handful of the trucks and will play with them until they break (which probably won't be long). An older kid would probably be let down by the quality and variety.

The hot wheels advent calendar is more expensive and you don’t get 24 cars, there for sure.But these have something hot wheels don’t have. They pull back and race forward!My kiddo loves it.So far the cars have been of good quality For the price and no broken or other low quality issues.But if that changes I will update this review.Nab it on sale. My five year old is super happy with it so far.

Item arrived simply stuck inside one of those plastic, non-cushioned envelopes which allowed damage to the item. In other words the "Advent calendar' itself was a bit travel-weary. (I did ask to return it for a replacement which arrived well packed in a box with air pillow. I used that box to return the damaged one.)When I opened the second one the package looked okay. We're using the vehicles to reward a small boy; he gets to open a "door" after he completes his homework each day. (We had great success motivating him with a Harry Potter Advent Calendar but, you know, cha ching!) This is day 2 and the vehicle, a police SUV, fell apart in his hands when he picked it up. We were able to fix it and make it work and we're hoping that other vehicles will be less disappointing.

We’re 5 days in all I can say is AMAZING! My 2 year old son loves cars and trucks so I wanted to get him an advent calendar revolving around cars. When I saw this one I thought it would be a good option but to be honest I planned on throwing the cars out shortly after Christmas to clear up some clutter. I just wasn’t expecting much out of them. Needless to say I was wrong and won’t be doing that. He loves these cars! There are little vehicles in there that we typically don’t see as small toy cars. Things like garbage trucks, water delivery trucks, tractors, etc. He doesn’t like the true cars much, instead gravitates towards the utility/construction vehicles. The quality overall is pretty good. Although he did manage to break one apart but I was able to put it back to gather. If the rest of the cars are anything like the first five days I would highly recommend this to anyone else. Two thumbs up on this product!

Thought it’d be cute for my son who is a cars/vehicle fanatic but the vehicles are very cheaply made (all plastic)... not worth the price at all.. very disappointed and #7 was missing right out of the box!!!

I wasn't sure about purchasing this advent calendar instead of the Hot Wheels advent calendar since the cars are plastic. I was worried they might be cheap looking, but since the Hot Wheels calendar only had 8 cars I decided to take a chance on this set. I am so happy that I did. This is a really nice advent calendar. The box is decorated nicely and is very colorful. I opened it to make sure all of the cars were there and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the cars are. There is also a nice variety of cars. My grandson is going to love it. I would definitely purchase this item again.

Kiddo really enjoyed this! I will say the cars come apart with slight effort but they are also easy to snap back together. They dont break apart easily but if you are intentionally trying to do so, a kid would be strong enough. He likes to take things apart So it works for him. He still has several of them left and still enjoys playing with them after having this set for over a month. They are light weight. I would not suggest these if you have a little who likes to put things in their mouth etc, as they are small/have smaller parts that come can detach with some effort.

My kid loves cars but if you get this in the major brand version it only comes with 6 cars and the rest of the days are road signs. BUT this one has a vehicle for everyday. Granted some are the same car just different colors but that just a few. My kid loved waking up and pulling back the tabs to see a fire truck, ambulance, gas truck, race car, etc. Pretty cool and pretty affordable considering it’s 24 cars.Oh yeah the cars themselves are made of cheapest plastic but it’s for a toddler. He doesn’t know. The cars can be pulled backwards the let go and are propelled forward.
