Not ready for sale - the design department need to spend more time on that and the Quality Inspectors need to ensure it is ready to ship out - I had to clean out wood bits from the drill holes that had not be cleared properly.The tiny width of the screwdriver is not good enough for the large slots when handled by a child. I, an adult, had to build the motorcycle as the instructions are not clear and when building, the bits don't go together as the picture - the indicated bolts overreach and prevent securing from the other side. With compromises, I actually did get a motorcycle but the rear legs have to be carefully adjusted so that the wheel will go on the floor and rotate. Securing it to keep its shape meant it was too tight for a child to work on it. The exploded diagram suggests two nuts are sufficient but the photo of the assembled model requires a third blue nut (only 2 supplied) for the middle bit to secure the ball-headed bolt (which doesn't feature in the diagram. All too chaotic, hence my 2 stars.Maybe the other models go together better but the motorcycle is both a failure of design and build plans. I think it will always be the adult who assembles, not the child (who would prefer Megablocks or Duplo).

A nicely packaged selection of wooden shapes and screws, along with wooden screwdriver, so that items such as boats, animals, a car or plane can be constructed.I found the instructions impossible to follow but children find it far more fun to use their own imagination - we managed to put together a dog/horse quite easily.Wooden toys are the best, they are virtually indestructible and the screws are reasonably easy to twist in even without the screwdriver.I am not sure why some of the holes are too big for the screws and we could have done with another of largest rectangular blocks; but on the whole this is a long-lasting, fun way for both boys and girls to use their imagination, get constructive and pass the time usefully away from a screen.

I hesitated before selecting this set, because I had concerns about the wooden screwdriver. It turns out that the screws turn freely so the screwdriver is not a problem.Handling wood always feels much better than plastic and there is something special about the sound wood makes too. Our 4 year old has much enjoyed making all of the models.The pieces are all safe and well finished. I see no reason why they should not last for many years. Taking that into account this set is good value.My only criticism is that I would appreciate more information on how the wood is sourced.

My 5 year old is enjoying this set quite a bit. She has spent hours building with it since we got it. The round pieces act as wheels if they arent put on to tight. Sometimes the odd screw gets tightened to much and have to remove it for her. The little screwdriver included works pretty good for the screws. Some of the threads on the screws arent fully formed or are gouged for some reason but we have been able to fix all but 1. I would have liked to see an idea guide ir something included. There is no papers with the kit with any instructions on how to build anything.

A well made 30 piece wooden car that is assembled using a straight screw driver , nuts , bolts , wheels and other parts which boys or girls will love doing . This wood outlast plastic and looked after will last for ever and be passed on to other kids . The kit encourages hand/eye co-ordination , counting and problem sorting but most importantly using their imaginations . The wood we hope is sustainably sourced and it is non toxic paint used and smooth to the touch . Priced at £18-99 and would make a nice present for a child three years plus .

The ponny 30PCS Wooden Construction set is nice wood material, good size for children 3+ to handle, well made and good quality material. There is a diagram of of items you can build and is likely to require some adult supervision. A well designed set that children when given to the appropriate child they will enjoy building and taking items apart. A really good way to spend time and lots of things that can be built with these 30 pieces that need to conform to the drawings, lots to explore.

30 pieces in this construction toy.I can't wait to give it to my grandson for I know he will love it.The children will learn to twist and turn the nuts into place, helps with hand and eye co-ordination. Children will be learning all the time they are playing with this toy.The wood and the paint used is perfectly safe for children.Fantastic.Hope this review helped you.
