This product is ridiculous, at least to a U.S. user. From the outside, it looks as though there are cherries in the jar. Lo and behold, those are not cherries, but rather cherry pits, around 80 to a jar. Not knowing that those are pits, a casual eater could easily break a tooth on them or even choke on them. We removed the pits and put the jam back in the jar - about half of the jam was left. The jam itself tastes good, but we are rating it two stars because of the danger that it poses for the unwary and because there is less edible jam than meets the eye. Perhaps the jam is used differently in Turkey, the country of origin, perhaps consumers there know about the pits and put them in a tea, but for Brooklyn, NY, it gets two stars.
