Futuristic Conversation Starter Pen
I have used quite a few pens over the years, and I think the Tomboy AirPress is one of the cooler pens I have owned. I did have one person ask why I was carrying a syringe, but a quick demonstration revealed it is just an interesting pen! While this pen is not the smoothest to write with, I do not think that is its goal; the pen's ability to write in extreme conditions is awesome. The clear plastic shell is not the most comfortable, but the shape of the pen makes it fairly easy to hold. Overall, I love this pen, but if you are looking for a smooth writer or something flashy, this pen is probably not what you want. It works well, is consistent, is affordably priced, and looks unique.

Great value pen that can write on almost anything!
I need pens a LOT for my job and write on a lot of different surfaces. I was looking for something that would be versatile, feel good in the hand, and have a nice pocket clip. This fits the bill. Always writes on the first try no matter what kind of label or paper I'm using, has a nice grippy feel, and a deep-pocket clip that holds it in place really well. This is my new favorite "value" pen! I have the clear one and a black one. I like the black pen a little better because it has more of a rubber grip feel, but both are great!

Chunky pen, good refill, good clip, writes well
This is the second pressure-refill pen I have tried and it is a step up in quality and execution over that first pen. The pen has a good grip - not slippery or too fat for my average sized hand. People with smaller hands may not agree so that may be a consideration. The clip is beautifully executed - really a well made feature. The "click" is solid, with a quality sound and feel (pen geeks will understand). But the real test of a pen is how well it writes. The TomBow AirPress writes well in any position - up, down and sideways. The point is somewhere between a fine point and a medium point - a good compromise. More important, it doesn't leak or blob. (Fisher Space Pen refills do both - in my experience.)If your work requires that you use a pen all day - e.g., wait staff person, delivery person, medical professional, police officer, etc., - anyone who writes a lot and not necessarily at a desk, this is a good choice for your pocket, planner or clip board.Recommended.

One of my favorite pens right now
I love cheap pens. My most expensive pens are in the $40 range so I consider any pen less than that I good value. This pen turns heads and writes great. I keep it on me at all times and use it as often as possible.

Writes pretty much everywhere
I didn't find anything that this won't write on. I didn't give it a torture test but the common thing for me is greasy paper which it had no problems with. The point is a little too fine for my liking though and not a ton of ink comes out when you write with it. It always makes a consistent unbroken very fine line though. It's got a great clip on it that will clip to wider things like a belt in addition to the standard shirt pocket. The size is nice. It's a little wide and the rubber is pretty grippy so it's a little tiring to write with if you are writing a lot. I carried this a lot since it clipped on my belt next to my leatherman. Like all pens, someone walked off with mine eventually.

What's so special?
I've seen many reviews from "pen guys" that recommend this for a "budget carry" pen.I have to admit, the pocket clip is fantastic, springey, easy to grab and deploy, and stays put.But on day four at work it quit writing dependably, and I had to start doing "practice scribbles" in the margins of my logs at work, to jumpstart the ink. Practice scribbles are a pain in the ass, especially when you are in a hurry at work.I can buy a refill for it, I assume, but really? Should I have to with a new 16 dollar pen?One more note, I got it in white, and if I ordered it again I would get black. The white starts to get dingy looking very quickly. But why order it again? It doesn't write well, and that's its job.

Great functionality and design
The pen works great and is amazing for when you urgently need to write something down and don't have time to deal with trying to get the ink out. The pen only has one subjective flaw in that it feels super light in a bad way. If you prefer heavy pens, this might feel awkward to use. I won't take a star off though as I purchased this solely for the functionality.

Does not work as advertised
I specifically purchased this because I needed a pen to work no matter what position it was in. It worked well for a few days and then, just like standard pens, it kept going dry if not used in the flat-on-the-table kinda way. I kept having to scribble the hell out of it on scrap paper to get it to work. Then, it kept going dry no matter what writing position- even flat on the table. So, yeah, no.. it's not "antigravity". Save yourself the money and just buy a Bic. lol

Comfortable to keep in one's pocket . Good quality.
Refill very small and normally only black refill available.

Great pen!
This pen pressurizes when you click out the tip, and works exactly like it should. One side note, just like other pressurized pens I've had in the past, a small amount of ink will seep from the tip. This pen will however depressurize when the tip is clicked in, so that will prevent it. Remember, always put your tip away!

Works great
I write my dreams, while I’m in bed, so I write upside down.—from how a pen normally works—that’s why I wanted this pressurized pen. Price was the best that I found in comparison to other space/pressurized pens. Works great….would be even better if it had a light, ha, ha….seriously though, no complaints…I really like the clip, it feels sturdy enough that it won’t just break on you. I’m wondering about refills though and where to buy them, better plan ahead before the ink runs out.

Igual que la descripción
El diseño esta padrisimo es una pluma ligera, el problema es que pinta muy tenue, aun así me gustó mucho
