Mechanics and techs, these are the ones you want
Like a lot of people, my vision is at that in-between state where I don't need prescription glasses but I still struggle to see small print or small objects. I always have a pair of 1.5 readers with me wherever I go.I recently started a part time job working as a mobile battery service tech. Not only did I need readers to see what I'm doing, but it's always a good idea to wear safety glasses when working under the hood, especially with batteries. These bifocal safety readers are the perfect solution. Yes, they take a little getting used to if you haven't worn bifocals before, but they make life so much simpler. It's not necessary to constantly take them on and off, just look down for magnification and look straight ahead or up for normal view.As an added bonus, the tinted glasses are great for driving. They're dark enough to provide relief from bright sunlight but make it very convenient to glance down at the dash or the tablet dispatch screen without having to put readers on while driving. As for durability and scratch resistance, time will tell. I've only had them a couple of weeks. But at this price I feel like I've already gotten my money's worth and would definitely order another set if these were damaged or lost.

They did not really suit my purpose the split for the bifocal is a little higher than I like.
They appear to work well but force me to hold my head at an unaccustomed angle. When it sit then on top of my head under a hat they are not as conformable as I would like.Basically one size never really suits all. I will use them but I wont get more pairs. This is my issue so overall they do the job and are clearer than I can buy in New Zealand.

Mechanics and technicians: These are what you are looking for.
What a freaking relief. Whew...The quality is about what you'd expect from a pair of gas station sun glasses. So what, they're not expensive. What relief on my eyes though. I do a lot of IT work. Glasses on, glasses off, glasses on, etc... These are instantly amazing. You MUST purchase the correct magnification for your needs. If you're not sure how to do that, see an optometrist. It is easy to order a strength that is too much and makes wearing these uncomfortable. With the right magnification, they function without thinking about it in most circumstances. The tinted glasses are great for day driving. Those odd times when I need to look down at something close, these are right there, placed where they should be.Mechanics and technicians: These are what you are looking for.I bought these looking for a solution to my problem after running the gambit of drug store glasses to glasses where the entire lens was magnified.I'll holler back to this comment if I find that the durability is less than what I expect but I've bent and twisted on these pretty good and don't see inherent flaws. You could smash them with a boot but they'd survive being sat on.

They are okay.
These are very basic simple and cheap. They seem like they will hold up and not bust. The comfort is so so at best.

Lense quality is a great surprise for the price!
After passing the infamous 40+ age, my perfect vision had fallen off to the point that I needed close-up help (at first), and later, distance as well. Now my cataracts have been removed and my distance sight is great but I still require close-up help. As a finish carpenter, I require that close-up help and these are "true" safety glasses so I am also getting the dust and 'flying objects" protection that I should have always been using. The drop in comfort rating is due to an acclimation period required for my ears which have been accustomed to thin wire "ears" on my prescription glasses as opposed to thicker plastic one's on these. After more than six months, I still do not have any lense scratches of significance. This is quite a surprise for plastic lenses!

Great product!
I use these on my motorcycle, while Jet Skiing, or boating. I often use the clear pair for working on cars so I don't have to keep taking glasses on or off for intricate stuff. I like the little bifocal so I can quickly look at a map detail on paper or on my smartphone, and not have to switch glasses. They are cheap enough that if I lose them on a jet ski spill, my whole weekend isn't ruined. Also I feel safer with physical contact (like a fall or strike) with these plastic frames, than with a metal framed pair. They certainly are not Oakley or Baush and Lomb, but they do a great job.

Quality easy to maintain
These are my third pair of safety glasses. Durable, good quality and great for my daily use while working on landscape projects, that requires some construction. I definitely need the reader lenses.

Great product with a little anoyance
Bought these for work, fit perfect, viewing is perfect especially the smoked lens which I use all the time when outside. Only thing anoying me is its missing an anti-fog, specially with the mask we currently have to wear.Apart from that, no complaint, love them.
