So much more flavor than McCormick
Highly anticipating the arrival of my Herbes De Provence, I made a stop at the grocery and liquor store. I picked up an organic chicken and some Dolin vermouth to make Roasted Chicken Provençal. I have made this dish over 50 times before and let me tell you, this time was the best. This specific blend has the perfect amount of basil and lavender it makes it so flavorful and I only used 2 tablespoons of the herbs, I usually do 1/4 cup. This was my first spice purchase from Spicewalla and once I cleaned up the dishes, I went right back to Amazon and ordered the Starter Pack. Time to get my spice game up and spend more time in the kitchen this winter.

Best of Show
I am a retired ACF Certified Executive Chef. 50+ years in the kitchen and these are the best herbs I have ever seen. They are bright in color, fragrantly aromatic like they were cut and dried yesterday. I was taught a trick used to grade especially any herb mix. Take a tsp of your herb and float it on a glass of water: you'll see every stick, all the "dust" used to fill, and sometimes even things you wish you never knew are in your herb and spices. Spicewalla 'Herbs De Provence' is by far the prettiest, "cleanest" fragrantly fresh dried Herbs De Provence available and I have to admit, better than I could mix on my own. I have purchased enough from the two premiere herb companies they know my name: Spicewalla is the best going away!

Love the product but the quantity is lower than before!
I love this product but the last two shipments have changed from 5.1 to 4.8 oz and I’m paying the same for the product. And, it still says 5.1 oz. Spice Walla products are amazing but I’m not happy about this. I order every week to two weeks and expect a correct description of what I’m getting. The tin is smaller but it’s advertised as being the same as previously.

NOT GLUTEN-FREE
The product description says this is "Paleo-friendly," which would mean free of grains and gluten, but the label says it contains wheat. I see now that in answered questions the company states that it isn't gluten-free, but I expected the product description to be, you know, *true* and purchased it without reading the questions beforehand. Allergens should be listed in the description - you shouldn't have to hunt for contradictory information in the questions.

Perfect flavor!
A certain other brand I had purchased at the grocery store no longer had lavender in it so I searched Amazon and found Spicewalla. This blend is heavenly! I'm so happy I orderd it! The morning after I received it, I made shirred eggs and was in heaven! Very fresh and the flavor is spot on!

Awesome spices!
With staying at home a priority, I needed to up my spices. Looked through Amazon and found the Spicewella company. Ordered many for me, and also for my daughter. We both fell in love with these spices. I've used them on chicken, fish, eggs, dipping oils, whatever I've used them on or in has upped the flavor. Very happy to have found this company! Will definitely be ordering again.Diana Levinson

Stale Spices - No Aroma
The reviews made this product seem fantastic. When I received my product, however, the spices were stale and did not have any aroma. It was essentially a bag of cut and dried grass; I tossed it out immediately. I ordered the Herbs de Provence. It was a waste of money!

Frangrant freshness!!Great
Wow. Herbaceous freshness. Nuances of thyme lavender, rosemary and basil in the forefront and, parsley sage and marojam finish the flavor. It is my go spice for root vegatables. This little company knows how to mix spices with a delicate hand. The care they take is evident from the snappy little tin to the violet strip across the the seal, there is pride in this product old school southern pride.
