Go to a shop
Wouldn't reccomend it didn't stop the leak and must of damaged my ac system beacause the compresser no longer kicks on. Shops wont want to to refill your refrigerant if they now you used stop leak beacuse it can mess up there machines

This stuff really works!!
Had a fairly large leak in 2005 Grand Caravan. I had added sealer and hose stop leak and still had to recharge with 1 or two cans two time a year for two years. Charge would only last 6 weeks.I suspected evaporator and metal line to the rear air unit were both leaking so I decided to try this product since it also works on metal. Installed this product almost 4 months ago and it is still blowing cold.Unfortunately the cost of this product has increased by 50% since I purchased 18 months ago, It is too expensive to waste. After reading the reviews on the problems with the plastic valve, I did not want to take a chance and used my manifold set to charge. I recommend you do the same or use a can tape and hose with adator.

Actually works
This product actually works as a short term fix. But only as a short term fix, such as for one last hot season where you need AC before you are planning on getting rid of the car. It came with a detachable hose that made it easy to dispense. A qualified mechanic will tell you, however, that using a solution like this will contaminate the system over the long term, so the application for this product is narrow. But within that narrow parameter, it works.

This saved my car.
So I own a 1988 Chrysler LeBaron coup, otherwise known as my baby. Last fall the AC quit working, took it to my guy who has worked on her for thirty years and he said the evaporator has a leak in it and needs to be replaced. This requires removing most of the interior. I didn't like the sound of that but said let's wait until spring to do it since I put her away for the winter. When spring arrived, I was having second thoughts about replacing it, not the cost but tearing her apart. I saw this on Amazon and thought what do I have to lose. I used this on Memorial Day weekend and its now the end of July and she is still blowing out nice cold air. Don't know how long it will last but for now I couldn't be happier.
