Need power-DRILL, not just screwdriver...
This is gonna sound angry.... but check it.First of all, I have long term back pain. I purchased the yoga trapeze before realizing it didn't come with a support bar or a stand or anything. I was fine with that - buying and installing the bar myself did not scare me away.Didn't even think about the fact that you have to put holes in your doorway. but how are you going to put them there? Not with a simple screwdriver - OR an electric screwdriver. You need to DRILL a hole or make a hole; you can't just drive a screw into a doorframe 🙄🙄🙄 Fine.I tried my electric screwdriver which basically ended up STRIPPING the lil baby screws they give you. I had some spare medium-sized screws which I'm thankful for. After fighting the brackets to fit (they were awkward because of the little "safety locks") I had a hard time getting the bar in because some of the screws were still raised a bit. I figured it out & wiggled it in.Tips:Drink water before doing this.Make small holes before screwing the screws in.Make sure the brackets are level across from each other.Don't get frustrated.Take your time.I hung mine maybe a foot and a half off the ground but everyone's different!Ps - The bar if installed correctly, is very sturdy. I was not confident in it but after it was up, I was excited to throw the trapeze up there.Everyone can do it! Be patient, practice, and enjoy!

Trapeze Door frame works well
Trapeze Door frame works well as long as you are not too tall. Seems to work for 5'10"ish on the door trapeze. I would have given 5 stars if Phillip screw heads had not been so soft….we learned it was best to screw them in by hand a bit late. Holds up to weight very well despite the soft screw heads; I just worry about needing to remove the screws we started on some day. Also, the 1-2" under frame recommendation is to be considered. Make sure you can get the bar to slide in, so don't use minimum recommended, yet get it as high as possible to clear the floor if you are tall. Also consider the door frame best to use, as you will slightly spread you feet and 180 degree up. A regular door frame works, as long as you have half you body-length space on each side of the doorframe without something else in the way 3' or so to stretch your body. I am glad they offer the trapeze as I can use my Yoga sling any time, any weather and it was much easier to hang up than find a sturdy place outdoors. My porch beams were too hollow to do the job and my sling would still sit in a bag without the door frame attachment.

Good safe affordable item
I am a newly at this yoga swing thing. I do have an inversion table that I like using for separating the spine. It’s getting hard to use as my ankles are not liking it. So I am trying the yoga swing and the DOOR FRAME ATTACHMENT.It’s steardy . I am 160 lbs, 5’8” and it’s definately ok. All I use it for is to open the spine a bit. So the doorway is easy and convenient as I have it up in my bedroom area . I can close and open the door fine. When the swing is not in use I slide it over to the side and it’s not an issue. My husband did use different screws then the ones that came with this hanging system. But that’s because I was panicking about the integrity of the apparatus. I am still not 100% comfortable because I’m new at it. Every time I check the pole for its security before I get on, ITS GOOD! 💪🏽So, I say it’s well made, good price, and it does what it’s supposed to do!

Can be used as pull-up bar or with YogaBody Trapeze (I do both); 3 year update
So far, this has held up as a pull up bar, and YogaBody Trapeze support bar. But it has been only used for a couple of days, so I will update in the future. It's easy to install by just screwing the 10 screws total into the wall and dropping the bar in. Mine is somewhat difficult to remove and insert the bar, but it may be because the safety latch is too close to the indent in the door frame.I also use this with the YogaBody Yoga Trapeze. The Yoga Trapeze itself is a bit cumbersome for a doorway, but if you really want it and can only set it up in a doorway, this is the best option.**UPDATE - 20 days later: Still holding up well, and feels more sturdy than other bars due to its hexagonal shape. This product is well designed.**UPDATE - 1 year in, this is still the best pull-up bar at this price point ($20).****UPDATE - 3 years in, this has proven to be an EXCELLENT PURCHASE! I’ve upgraded this to 5 stars because I have never had to make any adjustments, and it has remained sturdy all the while.

Strong setup AND easy installation
I received this item today and I want to express that it’s installation was beyond easy! I did it, not my husband but me;) I did predrill the holes with a 7/64 drill bit. To be honest that bit was the first bit I grabbed out of my husbands box and it’s probably a tad under sized BUT I wanted a good bite from the screws into the wood and it worked perfectly. Also, I install using the screws that came with the bar knowing if I need to replace after use that they can easily be replace with larger/longer screws. Based on how secure it is, I don’t for see needing to replace the screws but I will update this review if that’s the case. I do wish the brackets were powder coated in White so they were not sooooo obvious on the door jam but I’ll get over it since I can now fly freely inside when weather is cold or rainy. Well worth it!!

Needs better hanging ropes but otherwise in love
The beautiful but less than hardy mounting ropes immediately frayed to breaking point within the first week. Fortunately, the replacement extension straps I bought seem to be holding up fine and need adjusting way less often since they tighten down more and don't migrate across the mounting bar as easily. I actually bought the yoga swing for myself for inversion therapy for my back. It's done wonders. HOWEVER, I could really use a second one because I can't keep my 7yo daughter off it to squeeze in a turn for myself. She says her regular swing just feels too small now compared to the enveloping softness of the yoga swing.

Great bar but terrible screws
Strong and works great easy to install but you need your own screws! The screws that come with it are too short and are easily chewed up by the drill...so annoying. Save yourself the trouble and buy 10 long screws made of good quality material not the cheap one this comes with

no end brackets
Useless without the end brackets which did not arrive with the bar. Return postage was over £30 so will not return and now have to work out how to get some end brackets!
