PERFECT! I am in a production of Nunsense, and these are the perfect "nun shoes". The fabric upper is perfect for my bunions, and the little bit of support just before the heel and toe areas split supports my plantar fascitis. Character shoes are torture, but these are a dream. The felt soles avoid "clunking" onstage as well. We'll see how well they hold up, but for ~$30, I could buy a new pair for the next production I need shoes for. I'm not dancing for hours in them, so I think they'll hold up well.I did read the reviews, so ordered a 9 when I generally wear an 8 1/2. I got a perfect size that way.

These are great but I just realized there is an issue with the sizing table. I followed the directions and got a 24 for length. I tried them on as soon as they got here and they still fit big, I was confused as I had remeasured my feet plenty of times to get the right length as I was deciding between my usual shoe size or 7.5 or 8. If you look at the chart closely they have the same measurements for a size 6.5 and a size 7. So size 7 says length is 23.5 just like 6.5s length when it should actually be 24 in length and a size 7.5 would actually be 24.5 in length. I will be returning these as they are one whole finger too big right now even with socks on. Very upset as I needed these for a dance tomorrow, oh well I will pay more close attention to chart measurement mistakes next time.

Professional competitive smooth ballroom dancerMy practice shoes were tearing at the seams, and I needed a quick replacement. These fit fine. I wear a 6 in champion street sneakers, i wear a 6 in these. Very cushy fabric upper. Quality suede sole. I may but a ball-of-foot insole in them, but that's not a negative thing about the shoe, just my feet.Only complaint. Because the sole is a "split-sole" meaning the arch has no underlying structure, the heel block seems to wiggle around a bit. Nothing strong ankles can't control.

I love these shoes. Fit a little snug at first but are oh so light, breathable and comfy. I got sick of sitting around waiting for some dude to ask me to dance because there are always twice as many women as men at milongas so I've learned to lead. These are great for that purpose as they give you more stability than wearing your high heels and they look rather nice too. BTW ladies, I highly recommend learning to lead. Not only do you no longer have to be a wall flower for half the night but you also learn musicality, improve your posture, and learn that a lot of those women who look like great dancers because they do pretty embellishments are often not that great in basic technique which makes milongas a lot less intimidating.

My street shoe size is a 7.5 so i purchased an 8 according to the recommendations in the comments.They were slightly too big when the arrived but it didn't bother me too much.However, after using them for a month or more they've stretched out. So they're much too lose now. Trying to decide if i should order a 7 (2 sizes down). Or just purchase ones in store.Besides this issue the material is great and comfortable. They're flexible and i can dance in them pretty well.

I was very happy that these fit me with my shoe inserts in them. They run true to size. Look well made and should hold up to the amount of dancing I do which is moderate. I am not used to heels at all and although these are not that high, my big toes did hurt a little after 2 hours of dancing. I figure the shoe will stretch or my toes will get used to it. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Heel is the perfect size for practice, and the shoe is very flexible. The fabric isnt stiff and so far I can dance in these for a while.

This is a very pretty shoe. However, as mentioned in other reviews it has absolutely no arch support. I have fractured my foot before so I need it, therefore I had to return them. But pay attention to the sizing, I wear a seven and a half and I actually measured my foot to the sizing chart and ended up with an 8 that was just a little tiny bit snug. Comfortable, but snug. All in all, I'm sure it's a good shoe but not for me.

The sizing is too small. I take or wear size 8 and ordered an 8.5 at your suggestion. I have been trying to stretch and break them in from the time they have arrived. As the dance shoes took awhile to arrive (from China I assume), I decided not to return them for another pair. My left toe is showing bruising on my big toe. I am trying to wear them without socks but the reason I ordered the covered toe is so that my feet could be covered and warm through my winter dance classes.If you have a solution for me I would appreciate it. How do I get a size 9 without the wait? My dance classes start in a little over a week.

Very comfortable once you start practice dancing but feels strange to wear it for the first time. The middle part of the shoe bottoms are extremely soft and feels strange to step on them. As a beginner, it’s fine but I don’t think the shoes would be suitable for an advanced dancer who moves around a lot.
