Very Good Investment
We bought 2 of these to pump Tartar Sauce from 1 gallon jars at our Lenten Fish Fry Dinners. We have been highly satisfied with their performance. Very convenient and better for customer dispensing than other methods we have tried. The tube length is a little short but by the time it gets that low we are consolidating contents of other jars. I expect I could go to a good hardware store an buy a piece of longer food grade tubing to reach the bottom, but it will never be able to empty the entire contents of a jar unless cone shaped bottom of jar (which I've never seen offered in Food Service supplies). This is the best price around. Many restaurant supply vendors sell San Jaymar Pumps but not all have this large size (P7410) for handling Tartar Sauce. I recommend this to other Lenten Fish Fry Dinner organizers. Saves time, helps reduce over dispensing amount customers take vs other methods we've used, easy assembly, very efficient dispensing for speed of customer use, and easy to keep clean. It hasn't dripped or caused us any concern. I'm sure this will be different for different liquids or emulsions based on viscosity. I may try this for pumping syrup at our pancake breakfasts but will have a drip cup/catch below.

Works great for restaurant sauces
We use at our restaurant for tartar sauces and dressings we have to prep ahead of time. Easy to clean too!

Check valve easily lost at clean up
Works great for pumping tartar sauce. To clean it properly all pieces need separated. There is a small disc check valve in the t piece that needs replaced for it to work. These wear out eventually, but I can't find them offered anywhere for sale, so you have to buy a new pump. I wish the company would offer a bag of spare check valves for sale. Has anyone found a way around thus problem?

Talk about a smooth flow!!!!!!!
I got this pump for several reasons. We sell fish sandwiches at our parish festival. And what is a fish sandwich with out tartar sauce? Boring!!!! It took me 2 minutes to figure how to assemble the pump. (It is not obvious that you need to dis-assemble before you add it to lid) We handle a lot of sandwiches and the addition of easy to apply tartar sauce (1 oz per pump) increased the demand. Plus the tartar sauce was kept cool and protected from insects because the entire gallon bottle was kept submerged in ice water. The pump had no trouble accommodating the thick tartar sauce and more than doubled the amount of tartar we were able to dispense. I am very happy with my purchase!!!!

Pumps chunky sauce easily
We use this for thousand island And it pumps like a dream. We do have to put a piece of Saran Wrap over the spout overnight or it will leak out about 2oz of sauce over the course of the night. But other than that, it’s awesome!

Poor performance with honey
I purchased this peoeuct in hopes to use it wth honey in order to dispense consistent amounts. Unfortunately, once i got to pump to draw in honey from its jar (about 6 minute process), the honey would dispense in clumps, frequently “exploding” from the pump’s spout (in short causing a mess and being inscinsistsnt). Furthermore, overnight when left untouched, the pump has dripped honey all over the counter (about ¼ cup of honey was wasted). If you are using this product to dispense something less viscous than honey, this product might work for you.
