Five Stars
Great product, safety plus. If you have a saw stop tablesaw or any other table saw this is worth it's weight in gold. It helps rip and cut small items with safety measures above any push stick you have. It also helps in accuracy holding your wood to the fence and allowing you freedom and safety. You feel more in control of your wood. Thanks to my family for helping me out on my birthday. I got two Grippers and they are just what I needed. Watch the video and follow all instructions and make it natural to reach for it when you saw, you will never be sorry for this purchase.

Confident, secure, accurate and safe cuts.
I considered buying a G-G-Gripper for several months. To me, it mostly seemed to be an item that was akin to a felt-lined chisel case; real nice but without impact on work quality. It looked as if it would be too much trouble to adjust for the onesy-twosy cuts that I often make as a hobbyist. That is until I had a kickback on my table saw. Not an emergency room event but a glancing blow to the stomach that I was painfully aware of for a few days. That ended my procrastination and soon began a whole new attitude toward safe use of equipment whether table saw, bandsaw or jointer. I bought the Gripper version that included the 1/8" attachment and I used that feature for the first time today cutting 5/16" wide maple drawer runners with 5/16" between the blade and the fence, a setup I would have never attempted without the positive grip that the Gripper provides. That arrangement provided precise repetitive results that is not easily achieved with a fence adjustment between each cut. I otherwise use the Gripper anytime I use the fence. I'm convinced that I'm safer and my woodwork precision has improved greatly. I'm considering a second G-G-Gripper so that I can leapfrog longer rip cuts more confidently. I've found that a few passes with a fine brass wire brush across the bottom rubber is great for restoring the gripping power lost to sawdust over time. As I've gotten into the Gripper habit, setup changes really haven't shown to be an issue and add far less time to my projects than an ER visit and healing time would. I lost a fingertip a few years ago in a shop accident (non-woodworking,) I'm not going to lose any more fingers to careless machine operation.

Should have bought 2
5 stars easy! I wish I had bought the 2 pack, and will be picking up another one of these. This device is far better than a push stick or any of the other assist devices for running pieces through saws and routers since it allows you to put pressure on both the keeper piece as well as the cutoff. Most people looking at this are probably trying to find something to protect their hands and help them to gain better control when running pieces through a table saw. This product delivers because it allows you to have your hand directly over the blade and protected, while allowing you to push down and against the fence. The product is also thoughtfully and cleverly designed using quality materials; it's light and durable looking. The difference between the newer and the older model is that the newer model comes with an attachment that allow you to saw 1/4" off, and yes you will want to have this capability so I would recommend spending the extra bucks. Two of these gives the user the ability to maintain constant downward and toward the fence pressure in two different spots while never giving the piece a chance to be lifted by the blade; so owning 2 is like owning 20! I used this for about a 1700 square foot flooring install, and there were a couple situations where I was able to use the Gripper to cut odd shaped trim pieces so straight that the only other way I could have achieved this would have been with a much more expensive table or track saw. Even if I did own those saws, I would still use the Gripper for router and portable table saw applications. I do think that this product is around 20% overpriced, but it has no competition, and everything made of these newer durable plastics seem to be over priced as well. Since this is the best in its class and does things that the others can't, I think a 5 star recommendation is in order.

Keeps your digits safe.
Really a great safety tool. Keeps your digits safe and easy to use. The only thing I don't like is that the 1/4" attachment requires a screw driver so it can be kind of a nuisance if you're alternating cuts. That is if you make 1/4" cuts. If not, 5 stars.

I would definitely recommend this tool for safety and accuracy
I initially bought the Gripper 100 a couple weeks ago. It is one of the coolest and safest tools in my workshop. It exceeded my expectations- in quality, performance and durability. It is especially helpful around the router table and table saw. No more burned edges, no more clumsy push sticks, no more worrying about kickbacks- this thing is now a must on those spinning bits and blades that have a potential for something going wrong. With proper safety procedures always in place, the Gripper system insures safety first. I would definitely recommend this tool for safety and accuracy. A must!

High quality and gives great control of your work.
First off, the construction of the gripper is outstanding and it is solid when assembled. Very thick and stiff plastic and all knobs are captive by way of an O ring. Using the gripper is easy and its quick enough to not be inconvenient. The device gives great control of your work piece and makes cutting smaller parts a breeze. Its also useful on medium sized stock (~30x30) because you can keep both pieces from falling off the back of the table without a helper.
