Great balance of in ear and exterior sound. I feel like I can hear literally everything. They actually stay in my ears too. Would definitely purchase again.

If you're looking for a Yurbuds replacement since JBL bought them out, the ear nozzle fit of these earbuds feels and works exactly the same way.If you're not sure how these are supposed to fit snugly in your ear, I don't know why JVC doesn't include any instructions. Hold the earbud up to your ear so the nozzle is toward the front, rotate it slightly down and as you insert into your ear, twist it back up and it should feel pretty secure. I wouldn't have known how to do that if I hadn't already been using Yurbuds.The downside to these is that they definitely feel like a cheap $14.99 set of earbuds, I have my doubts about how long the thin wire is going to last, and the wire is a little on the short side. It's not bad for me, but if you're tall it might be a problem.

I have bought four of these over the years, and they all still work. I keep one at work, one in my purse, one in the car, and one at home. I have tried every style and size of the others, but these are the only ones that fit in my ear and stay put. They are soft and never hurt. No, they are not wireless, but they are always ready and never have to be charged.

Despite the high rating, it's extremely hard to recommend this item to people. The big problem is that these headphones are far too sensitive for most devices. When these are plugged into my phone I hear noise whenever there's activity on the screen, and charging adds a noticeable hiss. When you provide really, really clean amplification, in my case tested on a FiiO M11 and a desktop THX amp, these sound shockingly clear, though a little bass forward for my tastes, but it's a little hard to sell an audiophile on these when there are alternatives from Koss that sound much better for just a few more dollars.Fortunately these have another appeal point, and that's convenience. These are one of the very few in-ear devices that are comfortable to actually wear for long periods, at least for me. They don't isolate sound, which is a mixed bag but works well for me to wear at work and still be able to hear my surroundings perfectly well. The amp dependency isn't a huge problem if you're just listening to podcasts or dialogue.I think this is the perfect product for an extremely specific niche where I am, but if you can't accommodate a hypersensitive headphone you might be disappointed with these.

I bought these because I wanted a thick cord like the JVC Xtreme-Xplosivs has and then to have the same stay in the ear ear buds as the yurbuds have. But these don't have nearly the thickness of cord as the JVC Xtreme-Xplosivs has, but at least these stay in my ears and sound just as good as my yurbuds, but the cord isn't thick like I wanted it to be so these are not great earphones that probably will easily eventually get a short.This is what I do to try to give the cord extra life so it doesn't get a short quite as quickly. Get some heat shrink tubing and put it over the plug in jack and up about an inch or two on the cord and cut it off and then heat it up very carefully so not to melt the cord until the heat shrink tubing shrinks around it and this will hopefully make it so it doesn't get a short at the plug in jack as quickly.I would only recommend these if the cord was as thick around as the JVC Xtreme-Xplosivs ear buds.

I, like others, was so bummed when my beloved Yourbuds were no longer. I have been wearing those for so many years and they just fit. They didn't fall out unless well used (and those I relegated to at home use until I finally throw them away). They've been washed in the washing machine, been left in freezing cold - they are like Titanium. However - I cannot find them anymore.These seemed a pretty good replacement and the ear pieces are just fine. The quality is ok - I mostly do audiobooks so I am not looking for anything too picky. In my marathon's I use my last pair of Yourbuds but use these others for training.My issue is the cord. This is the cheapest cord ever. You hear every sound in the cord constantly. Since I run for HOURS this gets exhausting and there is no real way to fix it. Any small brush against it spells disaster and it is so distracting and just ugh. Other than that these would be a fine replacement. For the price I guess they are ok but I cannot do more than 3 stars. Fix the cord and charge more - I'm good with it! I have tiny ears and 99% of all earbuds do not fit my ears and fall out or make them so sore within minutes I cannot wear them. These are part answer but the cord needs to be fixed.

I have bought over 9 of these. Dumb on my part, but they work so good at first. Then about after a month when it's too late to exchange them, they malfunction. One ear goes completely out then not long after the other.I love the ear fit and they sound very clear and clean when they do work. It's disappointing, but I am finally going to move on and try something that hopefully works longer than 2 months.
