I'll write a legitimate review for this product
I'll write a legitimate review here, because this is quite a cool product, and I quite enjoy its use.I learned from other reviewers that this product is sap from a tree which is grown in Greece. And that this sap is covered in sand is a testament to its traditional technique of collection--the sap drips from the tree onto the sand, and then the sap is collected from the sand. It feels historic and unique and natural to me, which I enjoy a lot.The first thing I did was popped about 3 pieces in my mouth, it was making a nice gum in my mouth as I moved it around, but it seemed a bit foamy, it didn't seem right. Ah--on the package it says to rinse each drop with water before using.Next I tried just two pieces--being conservative. With this amount, it didn't make as good of a gum in my mouth, but it was okay. I actually laid down and stopped chewing the gum for a while--this was a real mistake. The gum became hard again, and it was all broken up into many tiny pieces. After a while, I realized my tongue and mouth felt like they have many tiny cuts in them. Sure enough, those tiny pieces must be very sharp when they harden in this way, because my tongue and mouth were totally cut up. It took about 2-3 days to heal. This of course was annoying, but anyway I got some insight into what's going on in my mouth because of the pain from every movement.Next, I decided 4-5 pieces would be ideal, and it is. This quickly creates a good gum from the hard pieces, and I can chew it to good effect. Good flavor, and a good feeling in your digestive system. I saw that this gum does not "go bad", so I kept it inside of a folded notecard and chewed it for a while everyday. Then, it became a bit brown-colored, and I got 4-5 new pieces. Now, I am sure to spread the gum out in my mouth, and I actually use my bedroom fan to dry the gum off well, then stick it in my notecard. I also floss and brush my teeth before I chew the mastic gum. This surely greatly helps to reduce any bacteria-attracting content from being on the gum while I keep it in my folded notecard.Now--about the chewing.WARNING: The "TMJ" is known to be "the most complicated joint in the body". Not only complicated, it is delicate. And it is a very important part of your face. You don't want to be foolish or forceful when it comes to the act of chewing a tough gum to try to gain muscle, coordination, and better alignment in your teeth, mandible/maxilla, face, etc. Now, I don't really waste much time just chewing casually. I look in the mirror. Analyze my bite to see what I want to try to improve. Then I chew in the mirror, lightly editing my jaw movements, etc. to improve my bite overtime. If I were to do anything too forceful, I would feel a sharp pain in my TMJ from things being too out of alignment. There are a lot of muscles in your face, and there are many which are involved in a basic chewing motion. It is of course quite fascinating. I've found medical resources and 3D models to be the most efficient way to learn about anatomy.Before--when I was just casually chewing for an hour or so everyday, my right-side chewing muscles became so sore in a way that made me decide to not chew the gum again until it felt totally healed. Surely this would occur because of of alignment issues and muscle weakness, so I think it is the best choice for me, to stick to brief and intentional sections of challenging chewing to encourage my face to grow in better and stronger alignment.I appreciate this product. Cheers!

The taste is very bad and the stickiness
The product taste did last for about 3 hours but the gum got very sticky and didn't taste good at all and got into my eyebrow and there's a missing piece of my eyebrow because it was so sticky the taste was super bad and it got stuck to my teeth so I had to taste it for a long time

Best we’ve tried so far
Super high quality mastic gum. We’ve purchased this brand 4 times now. We wanted a comparison so we purchased two other brands and ultimately this is our favorite. Originally purchased to help control h pylori holistically it’s our favorite because of the pure flavor and mouth feel. Once in the mouth it’s soft and endlessly chewable. You can set it aside and rechew the same piece for several hours. Why did you pick this product vs others?:we tried a few other brands and feel the quality of this brand is superiorIngredients:PureDurability:last several hoursChewability:soft and chewy but is a jaw workout for sureBreath freshness:Definitely noticed fresher breathGum quality:highLongevity:lasts for hours

Not bad especially for price
The beta I can describe the taste is just very earthy, it tastes like dirt and pinecone if that makes sense, crunchy at first then chewy but hard at the same time definitely a workout. For some reasons when you spit it out it burns your throat for an hour for some reason. Oh yeah and don’t drink water while chewing on it, I did ut and it became crunchy and bits got in the back of my throat, very uncomfortable. But overall not bad and not a bad flavor to say the least. The bag is really small though but the flavor lasted me about a week surprisingly

Great Mastiha Gum, But Watch for Sticky Pieces
This Chios Mastiha Tears Gum is high quality and a pleasure to chew. The natural resin from Chios, Greece, offers a unique, refreshing flavor and a satisfyingly crunchy texture when you start chewing. Its compact packaging makes it great for on-the-go use, and the gum’s reputation for health benefits, like aiding oral and gut health, adds to its appeal. The only small issue is that some pieces aren’t fully hardened. These squishy bits are chewy from the start and stick badly to your teeth, which is unpleasant and can ruin the experience. In the three-plus bags I’ve used, these pieces are rare, but I stay cautious because they’re a hassle when they show up.Overall, it’s a great product with a minor flaw. I’d recommend it for its quality and unique chew, just watch out for those occasional sticky pieces.

Very enjoyable! Stop reading reviews and buy this one!
I spent a while trying to find the right Greek Mastiha to buy. I settled on this one and glad I did. I read some of the other reviews but it’s not hard to enjoy this, just chew lightly in the beginning and get it all wet with saliva and work it in with light chews, then it’ll turn white and be like regular gum. It’s very pleasant and an enjoyable chew. I personally also like the sappy taste, it’s not too strong, I feel like I’m actually helping my teeth chewing on this.I will be getting more. Thanks Chios!
