Yes, it could be a little bigger; however, it is still significantly functional. And you know what? The small size ensures that nasty bathroom garbage isn't just sitting there day after day. Yuck. And it's so cute to look at while your peeing—a simple modern design with an indent that differentiates it from all other trash cans out there.

I love the look of this rubbish bin but it’s Uber small!!! That said. It’s overpriced. It is nice for small spaces. I have mine in the bathroom. It does hold and retain smudges and finger prints (blk can) soooo if you are OCD, good luck!

Interesting shape, but two design flaws render it useless. This wastebasket is so lightweight that it must be placed in a corner, or else it scoots around the floor just by the force of operating the foot pedal. Also, while it opens up OK, it doesn't close when you release the pedal. It just stays open, requiring you to close the lid manually, which kind of defeats the purpose. It's all plastic, with one metal rod inside that activates the lid. It's not broken, it just doesn't work. Avoid.

I love the design and functionality, but I wish it were 1.5 to 2 times bigger. It’s just too small to be useful. If they made a bigger size I would totally buy it!

What I love about this trash can— Design: I love the design of this trash can. I love the clean lines and modern look. It also has a liner ring with a hole big enough to hide the extra material of the bag. So the ugly plastic bag doesn’t show when you close the lid. The reason I got this trash can is that it hides all the ugly trash, including the ugly plastic bag liner.Behind the trash can, there’s a small little slot so you can easily pick up the whole entire trash can— Super light weight— Color: beautiful white color that goes well with a white clean bathroom lookWhat I don’t love:— Size: it is super small. It’s great for small spaces. I wish it were a little bit bigger (2 gallon volume wise)— Material: it made out of this shiny plastic that is a dust magnet. The liner ring is also quite flexible/flimsy feel. I hope it will last.I hope Yamazaki home makes an updated version of this trash can that is a little bigger, sturdier liner ring, and a less dirt attracting material.

I love that this trash can has an internal piece that keeps the trash bag tucked away inside so there’s no unsightly trash bag sticking out around the edges and it also prevents the bag from sliding down. This trash can looks great in my small bathroom and the pedal makes it feel more hygienic. This can holds a lot of trash and even when it’s full there’s still room to store extra mini trash bags in the bottom.

I bought it in August, super nice design, but very poor quality, in December it was already broken and the lid detached, you have to open it manually and the lid won’t close.

This small trash can is nice and neat in my very small bathroom. I wasn't sure if it would be too small, but it isn't. And it can fit in a lot of different places, even between the wall and the toilet, if I wanted it there. The can holds enough for this household of two. It hasn't been tippy at all. The foot pedal smoothly allows the top to open. I bought plastic grocery shopping bags to go inside of it, and they fit nice and neat under the removable inner square piece that holds the bag in place. I chose the white trash can, and it blends in well with my white wainscoting. I'm please with my purchase.
