Product Description Moderate the Gymini Super Deluxe’s level of stimulation by adjusting the number of toys appearing within your baby’s field of vision. You can stimulate your baby’s body sensation and control by placing them on their tummy. As a newborn, the "arches effect" helps relax your baby, providing the security of a relatively enclosed space. At 2-4 months the Gymini Super Deluxe offers multi-sensory stimulation. When lying on their back, your baby gazes at the hanging toys, reaches out to touch them and perfects control over their arms. At 4-6 months lying on their tummy, your baby can now gaze in the mirror and babble at their reflection - helping them to develop language and communication skills, as well as self-image. .com A newborn will be content lying on her back, gazing into Mommy or Daddys face. And that doesnt really get old for a long time. But babys brain and muscles and skills are developing, and after a while she would like a wee bit more entertainment, if you dont mind. The award-winning Gymini Super Deluxe by Tiny Love is a classic, sure to provide, well, minutes, but they add up to hours, of amusement! And parents know that even 10 minutes of uninterrupted time to make dinner or throw a load in the wash can be a blessing, even aside from the myriad benefits the Gymini play mat gives their little one. And what are those benefits, you ask? The list goes on and on, but heres a start. First, a Brief Description The Gymini folds out into a 32- by 32-inch soft mat, virtually swarming with colorful illustrations of jungle flora and fauna, most notably a giraffe, zebra, lion, and elephant. Overhead two padded arches cross, from which dangle more critters, as well as a large mirror and a plastic bead rattle. Hidden below, baby will eventually discover, is a music box that plays Mozart and several nursery tunes. Textures, colors, sounds, and lights abound, and baby has the power to make all these objects squeak and jingle and jitter and flash, as soon as she can figure out how to make those hands and feet and mouth of hers connect with her hearts desire. Herein lies the developmental potential. Shake, Rattle, and Roll Whether shes waving her limbs around; aiming specifically for the goggle-eyed, smiling monkey overhead; or rolling over to find the source of that I.Q.-enhancing classical music, baby will be hard-pressed not to advance her infant skill set on the Gymini Super Deluxe. From the monkey with springy leg to pull to the vibrating, jitterbugging elephant to the mirror she can see if she just lifts that heavy head a bit higher everything on the play mat has a mission: to make baby learn. Cause and effect is a biggie: when she bats at the giraffe, it rattles. When she pokes one corner of the mat, music and lights seem to emerge from the fabric flowers. When she rubs the elephant ear on the mat, it makes a fun crinkly sound. Those large muscles are getting a real workout, too, resulting in improved large motor skills: reaching, kicking, rolling over, pushing up. Many babies dont particularly enjoy their necessary daily "tummy time," but the Gymini encourages baby to lift and turn her head to see the mirror and find the flashing lights. Tummy time is fun again! And dont forget the fine motor skills! Those little fingers have to meet if baby wants to grasp the zebras mane or the parrots crackling wings. Details, Details Plastic rings hang from the many holes in each arch; dangling from each is a plush animal or toy, providing still more stimulation. Additionally, parents can easily switch out the toys for variety, simply detaching the included toys from the rings and looping other baby-safe toys on. A hidden music box in one corner of the mat includes an on/off switch with two musical selections: 10 minutes of Mozart or three short fragments of popular nursery tunes. The music is a bit plinky, as is the norm with most baby toy music, but not at all offensive. When the music stops, all baby needs to do is press anywhere on that corner of the mat to start it up againshe is further encouraged to do so by the flowers that light up when the music plays. A hidden squeaker in one of the birds, peek-a-boo with the elephant ear, flap-flap-flap with the butterfly wing, tug-of-war with the giraffes tail the play potential is limitless, whether shes sitting up or lying down, one week old or 8 months old. For Mom and Dad The mat and arches fold up flat, and the entire Gymini snaps together and travels easily, which is a good thing because you wont want to be without it on your next trip to Grandmas. The padded mat is machine washable (read instructions firstthe music box and mirror dont take kindly to machine washing ). Three AA batteries required for the music box (batteries included are for trial only and should be replaced). --Emilie Coulter P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); From the Manufacturer Enrich your babies environment with the Gymini Super Deluxe Mat. Great toy for infants
I got this when my son was about two months old and beginning to take interest in his surroundings. This playmat comes with two arches that snap together, a squeaker in the mat itself, a large mirror, a number of crinkly fabrics in the mat for sensory play, a musical player, and myriad of toys to hang from the arches. It also has enough space that a (smaller sized) adult can cram themselves in there too to play with the baby.Overall, I (and my son, who's six months old now) love it! He spends hours every day playing on this gym. The toys provided are great, as they have an assortment of different sensory experiences (the elephant, for example, rattles if you pull on it) and are detachable so you can take them individually with you so the baby can play with them. The arches also come with holes so if you buy other toys such as the Lamaze Play & Grow Freddie the Firefly Take Along Toy you can also attach the toy so he can play with it too.In addition, the gym comes with a plastic carrying bag so you can take the gym along with you, such as to the babysitter's.A note: the gym also comes with a musical player that plays either nursery rhymes or classical music. When I first received this gym, this was broken, but I contacted Tiny Love and they replaced it immediately for free. However, I wound up not using this that much, as the musical player is interactive (it has red lights that light up the flowers on the mats) and you need to pat the flowers for the player to keep playing, otherwise it quits in one or two songs. My son doesn't particularly like this aspect, so we don't use it much....I can see this as a plus for many parents as it encourages interactivity with the music (and tummy time), but I would have preferred that there be just a 'music on' option so the music can play while the baby plays with the toys. Also, the fasteners for the mirror makes it so you can only use it while the mirror is on the side and bottom, as pictured....I get more use out of it by moving it so it's directly overhead from the baby, so he doesn't have to turn his head to see the mirror. However, because the fastener is like that, I have to jerry-rig one of the other rings from hanging the other toys to make it stay stable.Overall, highly recommended!

An Amazing Product for the Price
I LOVE this play gym. I performed a lot of preliminary research before my husband and I settled on this particular play gym. The reasons we liked it were:1) Compared to all the other available play gyms, this gym had the biggest mat. (We compared all the dimensions with those of the other gyms available on amazon.)2) I liked the fact it had plastic circular hooks to hang the toys from. It makes changing the toys around on the spot so quick and easy.3) Machine washable play mat. Once I removed the music and light pad from the mat, I just threw it into the washing machine (on the gentle cycle to be safe) and line dry it. Since it's made of a light material, it dries quickly. So far, we have had the play gym for a month now and it still looks good. They toys are all very bright, cute, and easy to remove and change around. The only down sides are: 1) the mat isn't very thick, so you have to fold a comforter and place it underneath the gym before placing your child in it; and 2) this gym does not include a tummy time pillow. I have a boppy nursing pillow which we have been using to prop our son. As soon as he is 4 months old, we can use it as a tummy time pillow, so it isn't really a big deal this gym didn't bring one.All things considered, we couldn't be happier. And for the price, it was worth it.The mat includes 5 toys: a monkey (rattle), a giraffe (rattle), an elephant (pull/vibrate toy), a bird (she swings when swatted at), and a ring in the shape of a frog head. The toys can not be placed in the washing machine, but you can clean them with a damp cloth. The mat also has sensory parts for tummy time: the zebra's main is made if strips of cloth, as well as the giraffe's tail. The elephant ear, butterfly wing, and the flowers are all things baby can grab. And the mirror is removable. Everything comes in a really useful plastic carrying case which makes taking it to grandma's house and other places so easy. Simply twist, fold, and slip it into the plastic case and you are set to go. I will definitely gift this to others in the future.

Funny enough, we had exact same play-set when our now 11 year old daughter was a baby. Now on our third child, I looked around for what is out there and we chose the same one. The price is not much better (if better at all) than it would be in a store, but this is a great set with lots of textured toys in it, making the right sounds and the mirror gets our 2 month old daughter's attention a lot... We love the simplicity, the brightness of the colors and the total package of toys and the mat's elements in this product. You will not go wrong with it.

Great for tummy time
I am really pleased with this play mat. My baby doesn't really like tummy time, but this mat makes it tolerable and he enjoys being on his back too, looking at all the hanging toys. He is now 3 months old, and he bats at the toys with his arms, and kicks them with his feet. The music is nice too. It is a good quality mat and better than many others that I have looked at and researched about. There are extra rivets for you to add other toys, too. The toys are cute and each one makes a different noise or does something different. I would recommend this to anyone with a newborn. It will help a lot with the dreaded tummy time. One thing I found was that the mat is a bit thin, like most other mats out there. I lay a blanket flat underneath it to make it a bit softer for my baby to lay on. One thing that would be nice is if it had a pillow to go with the mat, like some of the other mats out there. But you can roll up a little towel and put it under the baby's chest to prop him up, if needed. Great quality product!

nice design and quite durable
Ok item. Pricey and daughter likes to play but not daily and I would not buy again.Another baby might play in it more but not mine. However, nice design and quite durable. ( I've got a toddler who plays with it and it hasn't broken ).simple design patterns that are not too busy ( I liked that)& the music choice of nursery rhymes or Mozart. We love the tunes. Just the correct volume.Like the flashing lights that aren't too busy/ when music is on. Hanging toys are superb.

My baby loves this mat
This mat has great colours and toys to keep my son's interest. We have been using this since he was 2.5 months old and he really seems to love it. Has some kick activated tunes that play which he enjoys. Lots for him to look at including a mirror which can be positioned to the side or above him. Great buy!

Easy to interdict new toys
Babe really enjoys and can play up to 20 min by themselves (3 months). Easy to interdict new toys, to throw in washing machine and fold up - but wish it's easier to travel with and portability a bit wide and doesn't fit into a normal bag or suitcase as was why I wanted the playmat for.
