Reviews are right: quality is good, design is good, easy to installI have both 1/2" and 3/8", and wasn't sure which one was which. Adapter made life easier.

I recently purchased a 4 stage RO water filtration system for my home. It came with everything I needed, including the angle stop valve. Unfortunately, the company provided plastic parts which are easily cross threaded, especially when you are in tight confines. I immediately emailed the company that produced the RO unit. I also began looking for a metal replacement part. Home Depot doesn't have one. Lowes doesn't have one. I searched everywhere and then finally checked Amazon. Sure enough, the EXACT valve I need was available and in metal! I ordered it immediately so I could hopefully get this RO unit installed and we could stop using bottled water again.Imagine my surprise when it arrived TWO DAYS before the original estimate. As soon as I got a chance to install the valve I did. It has only been a few minutes, but I have fully tested my water filter and verified no leaks from the valve.My only complaint is the price I had to pay, but I am still waiting on the RO unit company to acknowledge my email, so it was money well spent. I hope to never need to order from them again, but if it comes to it, I trust the product will meet my needs.

Quality part. Used to replace the plastic RO feed water adapter that comes with the Whirlpool RO system after going through several due to striping the threads.

It took me a while to remove my old makeshift valve as it was made of many pieces together and rusty. But putting this one on is easy and make the connections more direct. The connections fit very well. My only complaint is I have to pay double $24 for this valve (vs $11 for 3/8 in) just because I have a 1/2 in shutoff valve to connect to. That does not seem fair. But it is much better than if I have to construct a makeshift valve from Home Depot as they do not carry such a valve.

Easy install, no leaks!

The 3/8" to 1/4" converter is really handy. A very well designed product especially for the under the sink filters that are connected to a separate filter faucet.
