I was so excited when I got them in the mail, they looked so cute and came in individual packages. I struggled putting them in and hurt my ears in the process. But that was fine, I was just glad they were in. After less than 30 minutes I had part of the bank fall off. It had broken while I was sitting down outside. Shattered around where the bar was, so I tried a few more pairs ....and they have all broken in the same place. They've hurt my ears and when they are finally secure they just fall apart. Please please please save your money and your ears

I love these earrings very much. Only problem is that they screw together. That isn't super easy to maneuver when you have long nails & 1 earring might have the post sticking out from the front piece of the earring, while the other one has the post sticking out from the back piece of the earring. It was super irritating. Very nice once connected, but you might lose your mind putting them on. I know I did.

I have owned other pairs of these in wood, some where a post in one side just slides into the other side. While I read the complaints about these earrings getting stripped out when you tighten them, I just took that into account and when I get to where it feels tight, I turn it back one round so they hang evenly (because when it is close to tight they are never lined up right and would be off kilter). I like the durable feeling of these and I like the screws. The last pairs I ordered were lost within a week of purchase because the back half fell off, so I was excited for this option. Additionally the wooden ones I had in the past were significantly more expensive, just to be lost within the week. Prior to those I had a set with a wooden post. Those wooden posts tended to splinter over time and became problematic to be sticking in my ear. These really are a great value and I did receive all different sets and all with pairs. The way they screw on seems to be thoughtfully designed so that it takes into account the way your hands switch sides between left and right ears. It is sometimes a pain to try and align and tighten some of the pairs with two big halves, but I think it is worth the effort if it means I am not losing half my earring.

I love these, I'm always looking for something to add flare to my costumes and armor in belegarth, these will be perfect and their a lot tinyer than I thought they would be they will look really good with some viking braids and dead beads. I'll be posting a tutorial on how to put these in, I've never worn anything like this and I got it in about 3 minutes. Being dyslexic sometimes your rights get messed up with your lefts but these are deffinitly nice for the price and the fact that you get so many in one pack so if they wind up braking then I will just order more. The wings were the whole reason why I bought these but I will be uploading a how to video on Amazon and YouTube soon.

They are screw backs so they do take quite a bit of patience and finesse in putting them on but they are perfect for my purposes. I have no desire to have actual gauged ears and these are a perfect solution for having fun earrings. I wear them to work (I work in healthcare) and get compliments all the time.

They are screw in backings which doesn’t sound like a problem.... until you realize you’re dealing with 1-2 inches of earrings. I matter how hard I tried, I couldnt figure out how to twist them in without being stopped by my face.... which is right there... because that’s how wars work.Anyway. None of them worked because I don’t have earlobes that allow such contorting.

As excited as I was about the number of pairs for the price, and despite how cool they look, I cannot overlook the fact that I am currently writing this with a pair of broken fake gauges stuck in my ears. The acrylic broke off and now all that's left on the back is the metal threading, which is just big enough that I can't pull them out without tearing my ears and too small to grip and twist off on their own. Fortunately it doesn't look too stupid, just like I'm wearing a pair of claw shaped studs, but I'd still like to be able to take them out. Advice or compensation appreciated.

Can be a little tricky to get on based on the way the ends line up and need to be screwed in to secure.Have had two pair break away from the screws while in my ear. A little tricky to undo due to the lack of grip ability of little screw/post. Required hemostat to remove.
